Sexlab 1.24 doesn't start animations

Hi!

I have a problem with Sexlab 1.24. After update to 1.24 version, i've noticed that the animations isn't triggering. I'm using another mods like Sanguine's Debauchery and Sexlab Defeat, and everything is ok, but when would start the sex scene, this doesn't happen, so the problem is with Sexlab.

I used the Rebuilt/Clean option in Sexlab Options, in MCM, sometimes after that it works fine, but when I close the game or reload the problem starts again.

I uninstalled and reinstalled too, but the problem wasn't solved.

Does anybody know what more can i do?

Thanks!

I, too, have that problem. Just to compare, I also had SexAddict active, and it was working fine, and I also have Estrus(requirement for Estrus Chaurus) and it works as well. True, with some problems, but works nevertheless. So whatever it is, it is a problem with Sexlab.

OK. first of saying SexAddict and Estrus work perfectly fine is like saying "my motorcycle starts just fine, why won't my car start???"  Completely unrelated mods (only connection is FNIS - and don't blame THAT for your problems).  Have either of you tried starting a new game with the same mods and see if the problem still occurs?  With Skyrims/Bethesdas storing the scripts in the savegame, updating and/or removing scripted mods is a hit or miss event.  Even with following all directions updating/removing can still cause issues.  You must ALWAYS try it with a new save (and I mean starting a new game) to see if the problem is the mod, or updating the mod.  If the problem is updating the mod, there are other avenues to try to see if you can get it to work:  there is a line you can add to SKSE's ini file that helps clean out old scripts, look on Nexus for savegame cleaners, etc.  Also following the update instructions to the letter for SexLab may be helpful - if it says restart Skyrim 14 times while holding a jar of mayonnaise in your left hand, DO IT.  Do not skip any step/procedure.

I follow all steps to Update. With Sexlab 1.20 everything was alright, because this I think that the problem is really with Sexlab 1.24 Version.

About Save Cleaner, is there any to recommend? I see many, but when talks about clean skyrim scripts, it's a delicate matter.

I've never had to use any of the save game cleaners because frankly I start a new character whenever a major mod has an update I can't wait on.  I am not so tied to characters that I can't scrap 'em and start up a new one.  Other than the known issue between 1.20 and 1.24 during the initial release, I have never had ANY issues with 1.24.  Again, I ask (because you never truly stated) - Did you try this with a new game, or are you updating an existing save game?  If you are having troubles when starting a brand new game, then you need to post a load order, list the body mods used (can't always tell the body used by the load order), and any other related info.  Someone here may be to look at the info provided and go "Well, there's your problem..."  (in my head I hear Adam Savage's voice with that line...)

For myself, yes, I have restarted the game MANY times, and not even then would they work. As for your SexAddict and Estrus comparison, I meant that ANIMATIONS with those mods are all right. If there was a problem with animations, then not even they would work. Everything about Sexlab mods work: I can submit, I can force a submit, Working girl works, aggressive prostitution works, I can be aroused, everything BUT animations, and I as well have the latest version of Sexlab. The only thing that can lead to solving my problem is this: with my character with arousal 100 I went to sleep. As arousal was meant to be reduced after you had some sleep, my PC was supposed to masturbate. It didn't happen, and the only message I got was: "SexLab animation failed to start [-1]". I had thought that it may be a problem with a custom race(Celestial), but I think that is not the problem here. And as far my load order goes, I regularly BOSS it, so there SHOULD not be any problems, but if necessary, I can post it.

Funny enough, I got the same problems: Animations won´t start in spite of following the touble shooting guide step by step. Also, I can´t find Sexlab in the mod configuration menu of Sky UI. Guess the problem lies in there.

Unfortunately, I started with v1.24 so I can't verify if 1.20 would work, since I can't find that version. If someone has a link to v1.20 I would like to test that theory.

Just to keep you informed, a few minutes ago I updated to Sexlab v1.30 and concluded that the problem WAS in fact with v1.24. winchester, it would be wise of you to update to 1.30 and try if you still have problems with animations.

I started a new game like said now, and appears that everything is alright (for now).

I'm afraid now to update to 1.3 and occurs same problem again, kkkkk.

Is there anything cool that worth the risk to update to 1.3?

SOLVED: I've been using MO with a FNIS shortcut on my desktop, and haven't had issues until now. I finally noticed that FNIS wasn't working the same anymore. I ran it from within MO and it did the trick. Everything seems fine now!

I think I'm having the same problem. Just did a fresh install of SexLab and some plugins. Everything seems to look ok in MCM and some functions are working, such as Aroused interacting with SOS. But no animations play, only sounds. I have tested this with Matchmaker and Submit, and it happens with both.

I did a fresh SexLab install over a basic S.T.E.P. setup (+ RND, Frostfall, and some other major mods).
