Can't unequip some items in Skyrim

whenever i try to remove this item and some others this menu comes right back. sometime even when struggling out of something it will say it was a succsess and wont unequip im new to modding and cannot figure out what went wrong does anyone have any ideas?

The point of these DD items is to be difficult to remove. You can use console commands to add keys to unlock the devices and unequip it easier. There might be some MCM setting to automatically remove any device, or dialogue option for followers or guards, blacksmith and some other NPCs in the game to help you remove devices. But this depends entirely on other mods you have for DD.

 

If you don't want to deal with DD items don't use DD or at least go into the MCM, lower the difficulty or change any settings you think might help you.

oh i forgot to mention the chastity belt isnt locked and the other devices say i succsessfully struggled out of them keys only unlock but i still cannot unequip

Try asking about this problem in the Devious Devices support topic, where it will have more visibility.

Well - with answers like that I feel like a forum user who wants to help people with their problems -> is being taken for a ride

 

Boy (or girl) - you managed to download the mod... you barely paid attention to the installation instructions (your request here shows that)... but how did you manage to miss the big fat "switch" - which shows the way to the service thread... you click on this "switch" with the mouse and you're in this thread.

 

No - I'm not giving this link here specifically... anyone who can't "get their head around" such simple things -> should, in my opinion, keep their hands off of using the mod

If all else fails, you can use "player.unequipall" in the console. The inventory will still show the item as equiped, but you can now just unequip it.
