Hi, you can do it, just align the head (specially mouth part/area) with any other head and copy the weights from this one, then add the XML path on the NIF, edite the XML to the new head part name for collisions, and it should work.

Skyrim modding has come so far 😩

 

Cool proof of concept, current implementation sounds like it wouldn't be viable in standard play, maybe for making videos, not sure if I am misreading though?

 

I could also see this potentially being used as a catalyst to completely remove expressions in favour for using bone based facial animations. Then that resetting problem wouldn't be an issue.

It didn't work for me. Can someone explain better what needs to be installed and how to install it? I have SOS and HIMBO SMP High Poly Collision, but the mouth doesn't change, it opens, and there is no SMP applied, even when starting a new game.

    well, "TNG needs to have the SMP version installed", does that mean there is a separate version for this? but I couldn't find

This looks really cool!

 

I'd imagine a script way to invoke the smp reset would be possible... but possibly tedious. Could be as simple as what OsmelMC/others did to handle Precision's issues with SL.

 

On an unrelated note, would it be possible to get a version compatible with https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/90082? I don't use the BodySlide one, just the basic replacer (though others might want the BodySlide one).

thanks! can be used on the gameplay no problems, like i said, no scripts, esp nothing, it is just a "head nif replace", the save i takl about, is like you edited your char, and want to save the edited preset, not game save, but the preset save, i dont recomend to save with the mod instaled, just disable it or remove, make your save, and then enable again, since saving with the mod, the preset head nif sculpt will have the bones for the smp, only this, otherwise all good!

mod is simple, only requires the HP head itself and working SMP, with working SMP collisions like TNG (installed for SMP) and Himbo, also for SMP, with Build collisions for SMP, mod wont work with CPBC, only if someone make the confg for it, does not new game at all

Hmmm, TNG and Himbo if i not mistaken have a fomod with options to install, you need the SMP one, if you have creatures, test with then to se if it is working, also character hands, body will collide with the head.

Thanks! some cool people from D.D+ng will take a look for scripts or solutions if "viable", i will only support the base female head, but you can make it yourself basically the same aswer from the other post as "you can do it, just align the head (specially mouth part/area) with any other head and copy the weights from this one, then add the XML path on the NIF, edite the XML to the new head part name for collisions, and it should work", in your case, just add this head to the "fixed one you use" copy weights, then on the nif add the extra data path to the XML, basically done

yes, i installed Himbo SMP, and head collide with hands, so ig probles is that only penis not collide with head for some reason, but TNG fomod dont have options related to physics. i tryed TRX too, with SMP BodySlide addon, but still no collide with head. maybe i need to do smth with XP32 or SMP versions?

Could you pass on the mods I use to make it work? Could any expression mod cause incompatibility? It really doesn't want to work for me. SOS Full and HIMBO + Faster HDT-SMP. Character with High Poly Head SE 1.4. BnP variation, maybe?

I discovered the problem was the mod RSV - High Poly Head Patch.
