What Mogie56, Arcueid & PsychoMachina said.

Although if you're intent on vidya games, and specifically RPGs, then if playing a bloke isn't a problem - The Witcher 1 & 2, Deus Ex, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Alpha Protocol (nowhere near as bad as people think imo). If playing a bloke is a problem, then: Tomb Raider, NWN 2, Mass Effect 1 & 2 (i'd personally give 3 a miss. It... falters).

Or if FPS games are more what you want atm, then Strike Suit Zero (not exactly a FPS, but shooty fun), Borderlands 2 (surprisingly fun), Far Cry 2, Crysis & Crysis: Warhead. You could try out Planetside 2, but its still going through growing pains atm.

Crysis is a game i never tried either. its surpisingly something i HAVENT tried <_< lol

Or do like this guy.

Ghosts is pretty much a critically acclaimed piece of garbage. That's the general consensus. And yeah, CoD has been pretty much been the same hyper-unrealistic super solider game it has been for the past 5 years.

I have FO3 (modded) installed still, Oblivion (modded) and Skyrim (modded) - Skyrim is the game I give most time too, FO3 messing with sometimes and then lastly there is the no-matter-what-you-do,-Oblivion-will-still-always-look-like-a-cartoon-but-still-looks-great-regardless.

Try (a) MMO(s). Try different types of games. If you have any "dislikes" of certain genres, drop those predjuice feelings for a few moments and attempt something you may not think you'd "like."

And yeah of course, there is always outside : ) Or a man. Or a woman .. or .. both? Go fool around : ) Lots of things to do.

Get hyped for ESO! : ) I love Beth, but I don't mind a zenimax made game thats a MMO .. I love MMOs.. but have yet to stick to one for more than 3 months. I been playing them since I was 13 (I'm 30 meow! : )

If you haven't tried Dark Souls. I recommend it. The world is very immersive in a bleak and subtle way. People say it's hard, but if you grew up to games that forced you to problem solve, than this game is adequately hard. The phrase goes "it's not what you show, rather what you choose not to show." and this game does just that. The lore is mysterious and unimposing, but if you choose to search for it, it's rich and vibrant.

And Yes it's for the PC. I recommend using a controller however because that aspect has got to be one of the worst optimized thing I've ever seen.

Everyone games at different difficulties. For me it wasn't hard because I always got very technical in games. I got to the the point where I was trolling the hell out of pvpers serving justice to the world invaders. I discovered that using a certain sword with humanity offered quite a lot of damage and I used it maxing out my humanity and I won most of my matches unless they decided to call in a friend, then in which made it a 70% chance to win. The game is all about pattern recognition. See what your enemy will do and riposte.

Try one of Biowares earlier titles , namely : Jade empire , SW:Kotor , DA : O all of them are GREAT games if you have the time they require .

Are you at all into first person shooters, particularly the exceedingly open "sandbox" types?  If so, first one non-sandbox:

Red Orchestra and RO: Rising Storm.  It's a WWII infantry and tanks MMO Russia/Germany and US/Japan respectively.  Fairly good, except for the usual kiddies.

ArmA and ArmA 2 are massive sandbox types that are great for mission builders, exploring, real world strategy etc.  Not your fast paced shooter at all, though.  Mostly single person, but there is a multiplayer that is clan based, so it is possible to vet the kiddies (YAY!).  More a "stop and think before you act" as you only get one life.  Squad level infantry is where these sims are, though they also do a half decent job of helicopter ops.  Fix wing is not spectacular flight model wise, and water is very limited.  You will find yourself not taking many shots and probably getting your hindquarters handed to you on a platter if you do make contact, especially in an ambush.  The original of these games was an infantry trainer for the US military.  The only tweaks are things like shorter fuses on hand grenades, no fuse on smoke grenades, etc.

Turn based nation building strategy: Sid Meyers Civilization series.  I recommend Civ 4.  3 was good as well.  5 got a bad rep; 1 and 2 are ancient.  Definitely not action.  Slow to start, but the feeling as you roll up the rest of the world with your wall of tanks, aircraft, infantry, cruise missiles, et al is fantastic.  But you have to think, and plan way ahead.  It's pretty involved.

I'm trying to highly avoid anything with only multiplayer. Unless its CO-OP based. Mainly due to the fact their all turning out to be cod :P

isnt arma 2 those people who do that uhhh Warz or w.e?

Dayz? i tried one of those out and didnt care for it at all.

Im makking a list of stuff to check out

But im downloading Neverwinter or w.e atm. Lols so imma try that first :P

DayZ, (Day Z ie Z Day, I suspect) a zombie apocalypse mod for ArmA 2, yes.  I've actually played that mod briefly.  It was pretty cool... until the APC my buddy had commandeered got exploded by somebody with something.  No clue who, what, or from where, which is part of the allure of those sims for me.  As close to real world combat as you really want to get.  It's ugly.  Bullets everywhere and no clue where they're coming from.  "Gee, Smith, didn't do your job again, did you.  KEEP YOUR F*CKING EYES OPEN, DIPSH*T!"  Meh.  Like any game, it gets old, especially if you don't learn the coding to get the editor to really start the program kicking ass... just like Oblivion.

One of the nice things about the DayZ mod is that it doen't have to be combative, but can also bring out the absolute worst in sim-people.  Ex:  "Oh, yeah, I'm friendly, let me join your raid on the base to get all this cool stuff we all need to survive." Shortly followed by: "F*ck you all! I'ma calling in my squad to kill your asses and steal all this really nice loot you just got for us! Thanks, suckers!"

I heard dayz was highly modded to <_<

Warz was -.-

Well, I dunno about the whole mountain jumping knife thing.  Don't doubt it, mind you.  Every game is tweakable.  Someone's going to back-channel on you, if there's a way, and you don't vet who you let onto the server.  I do know that the AI are uncanny accurate with their firearms.  You'd better be the one to initiate an ambush because the ArmA AI aren't like real people.  They won't have emptied a magazine before they've killed you or most of your squad.  I blame a large portion of that one the fairly flat terrain, too, though.  Nothing to hide behind.  Real world, guys'll be shooting like crazy until they get fire superiority, etc.  Doesn't happen in ArmA.  Okay, that and the fact that they aren't great at spotting movement that anyone whose life depends on it would have detected ages ago.

I'm thinking of getting this one along with Dead Island: Riptides

State of decay is one of the best games I have played this year. It is extremely addicting and fun. I played in the alpha before mods were made. Now there are mods being developed for state of decay. Good game, I recommend to all.

Not really. When you are searching through buildings for supplies you usually can hear them breathing or shuffling about so it won't surprise you.

There is one zombie called the Feral Zombie, this is the one that will randomly spawn close to you and kill you. This is the most dangerous type of zombies.

This game has day/night cycle. During night it's really tough to see so when you scavenge in the dark, you may have to turn on your flash light but you still have limited vision and it may be hard to spot zombies close to you

The biggest thing is if your character dies, then that character dies permanently. You can switch playing any of your survivors. For example if you have someone who is good at guns, you want play that person and hunt special zombies or stay at the guard tower. People who have high cardio, you want them to explore new areas and buildings etc.

You get a hero early in the game named Maya Torres, she is prob the best early game character to play, even late game. I maxed all of her skills so now she can handle any situation.

Game is real fun and it's not expensive.

Not sure if this helps, but try looking in to Warframes, its free and on steam, it has a mix weapons, from Main weapon, Side weapon, and a Melee weapon, and each frame has its own set of skills, ever thing in the Cash shop can be found in game

and if you would kindly use this link https://t.co/PSZQOxusKY as you sign up, it would give you a free Boost and it will help my recrut level
