People have said in the past you can do this to obtain Venus Vacation and then switch your store back to US when you already have it downloaded but that only works because VV is F2P. Now the way you'll purchase PRISM is to use your MAIN steam account and add your alt account as a friend. Wait 72 hours and after that you'll be able to use your main Steam account to send Steam gift cards to your alt account. So, on your main account if you send a $50 USD gift card for example to your alt account, it will automatically convert the currency and add the funds to your alt account's Steam wallet enabling you to buy the game.

Tried this method with TunnelBear, logged out Steam account, turned on VPN to singapur (email is from that same region). then attempted to create new steam account and Steam automatically detected the VPN "Cant create account, turn off VPN or Proxy".

 

Tried VPN (Tunnelbear too) on my phone, went to an incognito tab, went to steam webpage to create new acc... same result. How tf do everyone else get pass this?

that's a common problem on Steam, seems you're using a frequently uesd VPN or a server uesage VPN, those VPN are not good enought to convince Steam that it's a home uesd IP. try using other less-used IP or VPN.

This is interesting because I'm sure that I used TunnelBear as well with no issue. You're trying to create a new account in a browser as I instructed and not the Steam client, right?

Yes. My 1st try was in the steam client, but then I used the same VPN on my phone, opened an incognito tab and then tried to create a Steam acc from the webpage with the same result.

 

For good measure I tried today again from an incognito tab on my pc with a different email and still same VPN and Steam still says "turn off proxy, VPN. Cant create account".

 

Could it be tunnelbear is not gud enough? Any other ideas?

Not too sure. Maybe because you attempted the first time in the client and Steam already picked up on the use of a VPN. This is why I specifically said log out everywhere and try signing up through the webpage and not the client.

 

Only thing I can really suggest now is to use a different VPN and try again but this time follow the directions fully and not use the client at all to sign up.

Not going to lie, I'm absolutely gutted that Honoka and Elise can't get the same treatment until the modding tools have improved given they're my favourites.  But regardless this is fantastic stuff and hugely appreciated 👍🏻

The devs are being realistic. Releasing this on western countries will only netted them with bad publication, scorn and ridicule from western "game journalists" and the whole easily offended crowd in X and other platform will have field day thrashing this game. I can understand the aversion from the devs perspective, it's not worth getting the negative reaction and damaging the brand just for having a few thousand sales.

 

I know the wind are turning and gamers are rising against ugly games being promoted by AAA games company and instead supporting more eastern devs (particularly Chinese and Korean games with sexy girls), but this game in particular is very niche in scope. It is a dating game. A niche within a niche. This game wouldn't sell in hundreds of thousand copies, unlike for ex. Stellar Blade which is more mainstream, even though both of them featuring gorgeous girls. So I think Koei Tecmo just choose the safest way and releasing it only in Asian market.

 

If KT release this game on the west we will see score of 1/10 from the usual game website while their "journalist" will throw any jargon like "sexist", "misogynist", "pandering to male gaze" and every derogatory insult available to them. This game is really a soft target for them and I doubt gamers will defend this game, because again, this is very niche games, and not many people will care. Also traditionally, many famous dating games (Tokimeki memorial series, Love Plus series, Amagami series etc) are only released in Japan and Asian.

@xenodoax We can't edit the boobs and butts because the jiggle physic. If you need add(Join) any new mesh on it, you need to disable the jiggle physic. If you only modify from the original vertices, it will remain unchanged. Just like I posted this image before:

If you just updated/installed a mod, and the game just crash (no KT Logo).

It may be the game files were updated.

If you are on Steam, just go to your "fdata_package" folder and delete:

root.rdb
root.rdb.original
root.rdx
root.rdx.original

 

Then do a Verify Integrity of Game Files and reinstall the mods

@BLACKGODCOMPLEX @minazuki @DigitalLove1010 and if you need to, it looks like @vagonumero13 is taking commissions for updating the mod loader, so if you guys can try in get in contact with him and commission him, I will also chip in and pay for the commissions or pay to make it more open source and teach people how to decrypt the games and have universal mod tools. it's more beneficial to have something like that now since VVP, DoA6, and most likely future DoA Koei Tecmo games like Ninja Gaiden 4 will run under the same engine.

 

It will be more helpful if we have a mod tool that can support both games and future-proof it, like with the RE engine mod tools where their tools fully works between Street Fighter 6, Devil May Cry 5, and Resident Evil 2 remake - 4 remake, or even somewhat how DoA5, DoAXVV, and Ninja Gaiden 3 PC tools works.

Your method doesn't work BTW. Logged off client and web, tried with a different VPN, new incognito tab, attempt to create acc from web. Still doesn't work. Steam still detects the use of proxy/VPN...

 

Even with an already created alt china acc if you will get boot'ed everytime you try to log in this method is not worth the time/risk with valve. Keep in mind they improved their VPN detection methods for the purpose we want to do here. They probably have plenty of blacklisted IP's of the servers used by popular VPN providers and can continue to expand on that.

 

I think the best bet for the majority is to buy the DMM version with a vpn and paypal. 

Because let´s be real, trying to get pass steam vpn detection is most likely possible but very time consuming to learn all the neccesary network skills.

Yeah this is very bummer, I hope someone can know the inner working of Prism jiggle physics and made new edits out of it so new mesh can fit in with jiggle physics. We now know some modder can edit jiggle physics on FF7 Rebirth and fitted it in with new models. But as he said himself, this is much more on the technical side (coding/programming side) than artistic side. So yeah I think custom jiggle physics is doable but very-very hard.

Also, niche games can go viral like flappy bird did. They often go viral because their uniqueness. A trait that is becoming increasingly rare among western games.

Who is this everyone exactly? Have you tried your own method recently from scratch to verify? Has anyone at all tried your method for PRISM without encountering issues for that matter?

User once again doesn't follow directions. (I never said anything about an incognito tab which disables a most likely needed cookie).

Comes back claiming it doesn't work and that it's "too hard" and they have a "better method".
Proceeds to make up story of possible bans and other nonsense that doesn't happen. I've been playing VV for 3+ years. No issues.
