Oh I thought they said 8 initially. I'll stick with the 6 I named then.

 

I've accepted that this may be the first Xtreme game that doesn't have the main DOA girls as it seems like they are moving the series away from DOA proper by making the Dead or Alive part basically a subtitle to the Venus Vacation Prism main. So I choose 3 from the original Venus Vacation vanilla and then 3 that was introduced exclusively in Venus Vacation with a body type of each. Me personally however just really hope Tamaki is in the game.

 

And yes I'm really excited to see those next gen mods too as long as modders are willing to go at it!

I have to admit, I wouldn't have thought that either. When I play DOAXVV, none of my in-game friends or any other profiles that i have seen in the Japanese version have Fiona as the fave character.

Misaki, Fiona, and Elize so far. I see some complaining about the art direction, but I personally like it. I think the YouTube compression makes it looks worse than it will really be when released. They still haven't said if this will be a paid game or not but since it is coming to console maybe it'll also release on Switch 2.

yes, I see some complaining on reddit. But nothing new in the DOA community lmao I think the new look is great. To be honest, I always hoped that TN would switch to a different engine at some point so that the graphics for DOA games would be much better in the future

Now that you mentioned that it'll be interesting to see if any of the original DOA girls are announced initially because yeah we'd pretty much be getting a look at how the next gen DOA games should look as long as this isn't a one-off engine for only this game...but if they take the time out to make new models for the original gals then I think they'd be sticking with the engine for at least awhile. Hell, what am I saying, the game is probably going to be supported for ages anyway lol.

I don’t want to admit that the careers of these voice actors of girls from FTG era  have obviously declined.
The age gap between them and current VA is nearly 30 years-old.
As a one-on-one situational simulation game, VVP will definitely pay more attention to dialogue and communication.
This means that young characters born in XVV are more energetic to take on this opportunity.

Some people will care about the glory of the FTG era,
That's because DOA5 laid the foundation for all the beauties we see.
So some people ignore the failure and existence of DOA6,
Because after losing its original core developers, it has forgotten the purpose of players.

We are fapper, not fighter.
Asking KT to make FTG is a wrong expectation.
It will only cause them to waste their capacity to create more electronic whores.

Idk what I'm going to do about the cost situation if this game is actually a paid one though. I tried to buy some V-Stones recently but my PayPal was denied as it didn't match the same region as my steam account, and I haven't figured out a way around this.

If you changed your Steam region only to get this game (I don't think you had to do this for a free game, just VPN was enough for me), you can change it back to your original under: Click on profile -> Account details -> Update store country.

You will be able to buy currency for XVV and other games your ALREADY OWN even if the game is not available in your region's store, but you won't be able to purchase games not available in your region, such as the upcoming PRISM game unless that region is SEA/Japan.

The only solution for buying games in your current store (which I assume PRISM is going to be available in) without a payment option is to have a friend gift you the money you need; it will be converted to your store's currency automatically so you can use it without needing a payment option in that region. You can make an alt account to gift yourself if nobody's willing to help.

Thank you I was just thinking about the gifting idea. I have my main US account then I have a completely separate Singapore account I use just to play this game. I made the Singapore account because back when I first tried to get the game with my main account using a VPN it didn't work. It finally worked when I used a VPN to make a Singapore account and have used that ever since.

 

I don't need to continue using the VPN to play the game, but as you mentioned I don't want to change my region to US to match my PayPal because of not being able to get PRISM in the near future. If it ends up being F2P I might be worried about nothing but being it's also coming to console it might be a full price game or like how Scarlet has a light version where you buy each girl separately. Either way it's probably going to involve having to pay something.

 

So yeah I thought about the idea of just using my main US account to gift my Singapore account the funds. You think that'll really work?
