Crash apon opening the inventory

Hia. I got this problem, where if you open up your inventory the screen flashes from the game screen to a black screen and then just crashes. I tried uninstalling any mods that might have efffect on the grafics like All Natural, and CM Parthers. It started when it crashed from my video card overheting, which doesn't happen with Oblivion even with 2x AA. It has never happened before and only started to happen now. I have not installed any mods prior to this

 

I'm using OBSE v0021, Pluggy v125, Oblivion stutter remover and Operation: Optimazation.

Could be something in your inventory outfit/armor/item (maybe spell)that is causing the crash or if you have tons of crap in there it can also can lag/crashes. Have you tried starting a new game and seeing if it still occurs? If it doesn't then you know that game/save is corrupted somehow or it is a item/outfit/armor causing it.

Hmm. I had a look into it. I loaded my save just before exiting the Imperial sewers and it worked fine, atleast for how much I've tried. It's interesting, because not only did it use to crash the game, it somehow managed to crash my video card and overheat it. But, how did it managed it?

you might check the mods that add directly to your inventory right after chargen.

 

Also- Alternate start by Robert is in your load order but you say you are starting in the sewers? That may be a problem.
