buzzbombr Posted September 19, 2024 Posted September 19, 2024 Sorta been there, done that with Starfield. Been playing AVN's for a while and I'm itching for an actual game. I'm no stranger to D&D and played Baldur's Gate2. I've already purchased BG3 and it's currently downloading to my PC. I'm curious what mods do ya'll consider indispensable? Seeing as I'm asking this on LL, you can assume I would prefer everyone to be naked, and would appreciate your thoughts as to which nude mods you prefer. Also QOL mods and anything else I just don't know about. Thank you.
buzzbombr Posted September 20, 2024 Author Posted September 20, 2024 So I went with a half WoodElf monk. I played AD&D Second Edition, and the monk was always something I wanted to try because they're really strong at high levels. Didn't matter, my DM (Or if I was DM), they just died at low level. AD&D Second Edition, a half elf Ranger with twin scimitars or rapiers and a long bow was death to all the bad guys. All my years of playing, and that character was always my favorite. My last was named Killion Storm. I'm trying something new here. Gonna play that monk. BrooLee. (Yes it's on purpose) She's pretty hot, and hopefully a badass. Now she just needs to be naked! With a tail plug. Naked with a tail plug whilst swinging that staff around early on. Just decimating the baddies with her palms of fury later on. Yeah. Nice. Any help here?
King of tentacle Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 Unless they just added those items no such kink mods exist as unfortunately the nexus has a monopoly on bg3 mods. I mean the only ones I know of are the succubus class and some related mods(sharress embrace, loviatars claws) as well as the only sex mod and a single vore mod. so yeah after having beat it modded 3 times already I would say the adult mod scene is very very lightweight. honestly I'd waste my time on a better game like Succubus by mad mind studio but that's just me.

That's a bummer. Appreciate the answer. You saved me a long, fruitless search.
corridian Posted September 22, 2024 Posted September 22, 2024 go completely vanilla the first time ... just my suggestion

I agree. Unless I just don't like something, I'm going vanilla. I completed the first fight on the ship as a naked woman with a big stick and it was pretty cool.
maltodaxtrin Posted September 24, 2024 Posted September 24, 2024 I never played vanilla, I installed native camera tweaks (+ WASD movement if on M+KB) mod right away on release. These are ESSENTIAL in my opinion. The rest, it's okay to skip for now (and I have 150 mods installed btw, these 2 are the only must-haves which you will never play BG3 without again) 1
llye Posted September 24, 2024 Posted September 24, 2024 also since patch 7 launched recently a lot of mods are out of date, although might still work. There will probably be a lot more content since they released a tool for modding, so we will see.

I'll look into them immediately.

Just being able to look around. It's good stuff. I only wish it worked in combat! The freakin' combat camera will make you tear your hair out. Thank you for that one.

Since it's a native mod, the settings is in an ini file somewhere. It's not recommended, however, as it gets janky. 1
buzzbombr Posted October 7, 2024 Author Posted October 7, 2024 So do ya'll use the tadpole or not? RP wise, I could go either way. I'm playing a naked monk, so purity of mind, body and soul would be paramount. Except she recognizes the benefits the tadpole can give, and maybe she's feeling a little weak and would like to use that extra power. Just this once. Or maybe that one, too. Heck, it's not so bad. Maybe use it again. The journey to the darkside would begin. Fighting it all the way. Fun stuff. I just don't want to turn into a Mindflayer. That'd be pretty boring, honestly.

You will need to play through the game a few times and really change your choices, you will likely be shocked at the amount of effort made by Larian to account for every choice, dialogue and effect.

I definitely appreciate the reply. Can't say it was really helpful, though. On a side note, my naked monk just caught an arrow, threw it back and killed the drow who fired it! I am enjoying this game. 1

My answer about tadpoles is I have tried all options and had fun with all options. Those abilities can be fun but are not going to make or break your playthrough.

It's kind of exciting in a way to imagine my character trying to walk a fine line between power and Self. As a player, I'm going to agonize over the decision, every time I choose to use one of the ugly little critters. Kudos to the writers. There are a few battles that were very difficult for me. (Frickin' Mud Mephits!) I had to replay a few times to survive. I was hoping for a clear black and white, good or bad answer because I didn't want to have to start a new game after another 30 hours in and do it all over again. Instead I've chosen to embrace (sort of) this road and see where it leads all the way to the end. Who knows, it may just lead to another playthrough to do it again in a different way.
buzzbombr Posted November 4, 2024 Author Posted November 4, 2024 Just a little update on my Naked Monk. We're at level 5 and in the Grymforge. Doing pretty well for ourselves, I think. The only LL themed mods I'm running are for shaved pubes and BrooLee's thinner bod, which I do like quite a bit. Otherwise it's just a camera mod, an item sorting mod and a longer range long bow mod, along with their dependencies. Oh, and I just picked up a mod that adds feats at more levels, just to see what they do. Those weren't in DnD, back when I played. The lack of bouncing boobs has been a major let down, though. BrooLee especially is begging for some jiggle, but I understand BG3 has some possibly insurmountable technical limitations where that is concerned. Still, it's been a lot of fun and a nice break from Starfield while they get that lude modding scene sorted out.
belegost Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 Dude, you want bouncing breasts, mod Skyrim.
