HornyNerdBird Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 (This is a copy & paste from the Nexus Post I made. After a month I didn't get any reply from Nexus on it, so I want to try here. I've used google, guides etc. but still nothing worked. I know HIMBO isn't a LoversLab mod but I know the people on this site are more active & helpful than on Nexus from my experience, so I'm hoping I'll be able to get help here) Â So I've been trying for the past few days to get Himbo to work. I use the SOS HDT-SMP version of Himbo because I have several mods that require SOS. My issue is Himbo is not working at all, it's downloaded, listed in Vortex & Bodyslide & it's in my games files, I build it the way I want it in Bodyslide with the SOS HDT-SMP version. But in-game it just doesn't work the sliders show up in RaceMenu but they don't do anything. I've tried reinstalling it, restarting my game, even restarting my pc itself to no avail. I did get it to work randomly while using the SOS HDT-SMP Collision version in Bodyslide & it worked, but I had an issue where the scrotum seemed to move higher up on the body & get stuck horizontal & never stopped bouncing, so I figured that was because of the SOS HDT-SMP Collision version, so I figured since the mod is working now, I can safely rebuild it with the SOS HDT-SMP without collision, so I did that & now the mod is back to not working. (Note I didn't make any other change to my mods when I didn this) I tried the CBPC version of Himbo, nope, I tried to go back to the HDT-SMP Collision version, nope. So I'm just completely lost. I have a feeling I'm doing something wrong in Bodyslide, I use batch build, ticked the boxes above & next to batch build, wait until they are built, Bodyslide says they were built successfully, I click ok close Bodyslide deploy my mods & yet Himbo still doesn't work in-game. Can anyone please help me out. I'm losing my mind over this mod.Â
Gukahn Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 (edited) Why do you deploy your mods after using BS? Not that this should be an issue. (Unless you do the stupid and revert the recent changes you made in Bs. Which I doubt.)  Try this for a joke: Build your body in bodyslide like usual, but send the files to a random folder on your computer. Then copy paste the files Himbo made into this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\Meshes\actors\character\character assets The files should be  Spoiler malebody_0 malebody_1 malebody.tri malefeet_0 malefeet_1 malefeet.tri malehands_0 malehands_1 malehands.tri  You could also just take a quick look when these files got changed cerenctly. If it doesn't match with the date you used BS, then the files get send into the wrong folder. Copy paste wil fix that. Problematic could be if the outfit files also get send wrong. (This is, sadly, the only thing that comes to mind for me.) Edited September 13, 2024 by Gukahn
Tlam99 Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 Himbo is a Diva. Had a similar problem when making the ForSOSwornbriar mod with himbo base. My way to fix, created a complete new default body in Outfit Studio (everything same as reference). then all sliders worked. Did not investigate further, but maybe it's a script issue.
BlaçkRaven_ Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 Well apart from checking the dates on the files, at the folder you creating them in your bodyslide to see if body slide is indeed replacing files and the above advise of copying them manually after creating them in another folder maybe its a matter of load order? Mine (Mo2) is loaded after shlongs and their patches and after himbo i run tempered skins for males sos full vers.
HornyNerdBird Posted September 13, 2024 Author Posted September 13, 2024 (edited) Ok so I made a discovery, it's seems to be the nude body that doesn't work, I put on fur armour just to see & the Himbo body works, even in the racemenu, the sliders actually worked. But as soon as I took off the armour it went back to the default SOS Body, which I don't understand because, I used Bodyslide to build the Himbo Body SOS phys SMP & then batch build everything with the settings I wanted, I also have The Amazing World Of Bikini Armour Extended which is meant to be compatible as it even has Himbo files in Bodyslide which I also included in the batch build. But at the same time the male body doesn't seem to look like how I built it in Bodyslide, the shoulders & arms seem smaller, I'm using Himbo's Five preset as a base. Although that could just be me. Edited September 13, 2024 by PhoenixFlyer324650

Because you can either use New gentleman or SoS with it. HornyNerdBird Posted September 20, 2024 Author Posted September 20, 2024 (edited) Ok I got it working again a few days ago, not 100% sure how, I just got rid of the All In One version of the mod & instead downloaded the different parts of Himbo separately, reinstalled BodySlide & built the bodies with the SOS HDT-SMP Collision version again & to my surprise t worked, still has the slightly wonky scrotum issue, but at this rate I don't care anymore, just happy the mod works. Still makes no sense to me why the SOS HDT SMP Collision version is the only one that seems to work for me. Edited September 20, 2024 by PhoenixFlyer324650
