Save game issues?

How's it going again.  I do have a question... is there something that could cause save games to not recognize and/or load your mods.  I say this because I previously was having problems getting my mods to work and after much work and dilligence I finally got everything up and running... well 98% running.  See, I dont have the CTD's anymore and the gmae loads and runs fine.  In fact, when I start a new game everything truns beautifully and like clockwork.

Now, the problem that I am having is that once I save the game and 'exit' the game... when I come back and reload the save game, while the load pops up and runs, some of the mods dont seem to load properly.  Meaning that it runs like regular Skyrim minus the mods that 'should' have loaded.  So, in the forums infinite wisdom... I was hoping someone might be able to give me an idea on what could cause a save game to say "Mods... what mods?"

Now even though I know that my knowledge of modding is pretty infantile, I do have to say that if I were to take a guess at the potential problem... I'd say that the issue is that somehow the game isn't loading the animations for the mods.  Not due to the fact that FNIS was not done... I have become almost obsessive now at running it constantly... but rather that for some reason on the 'Save game' it seems to neglect loading the animations.  Where as, when I start a new game, everything loads up as I can see it in the upper left hand side and everything runs great up until I have to save and log off.  So basically, how to get the game to recognize that it needs to load the animations on the save games too is something I am not sure how to get it to do.  But again, I state that I am in no way an expert and could be completely wrong in my assessment.

A save file has nothing to do with what mods get loaded when you save it only saves your game and any mod that are active at that time will also get saved into it. If mods are not loading the way they should it could be because of a mod conflict load order or something else.  NMM/mod manager control what mods get loaded but if there are mod conflicts/load order not set up correctly those can cause some not to work correctly.

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/6/? Boss can sort out your load order though it will only sort the ones that are in it's list any mod that it doesn't sort needs to be manually set by the authors instructions if there are any.

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1840/? Wrye bash can show you if you are missing any mods needed for any of the mods you have installed. You can also use TESedit for that as well.

Just an update that I 'FINALLY' figured out how to properly use both BOSS and TES5EDIT.  I cleaned my master files and my mods that BOSS listed needed cleaning.  Plus, I discovered that my order was in fact out of whack.  Therefore, I actually have a warm and fuzzy that once I test this out everything may work out just fine.  And Rokabur... as a suggestion, I would go to Youtube and look up the vids by Gopher... he literally breaks down everything on how to operate things on all of these programs in a way that even a moron like myself can understand.  I only say this, not being insulting at all, just that I had thought I was using them right and just discovered that I was totally off the mark on what I was doing until I watched his vids.  Anyway, I will test it out in a bit and if all is well I will tag this as fixed and we will drive on.

I sorta have the same problem. I downloaded (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/42977/) just the Armor - Jewelry for weightless necklaces and rings but when I play Skyrim they all still have their vanilla weight. Yes, I use BOSS and Wrye Bash every single time I install or remove a mod.

Mods that change item attributes generally won't be included in the bashed patch from Wrye Bash. A bashed patch is more for merging leveled lists from various mods to add or change what shows up where. You can try moving the mod lower in the load order but it will override whatever it was conflicting with.

Wouldn't be good for me to mess around with TES5Edit at all. I'd likely just break everything. It's just most of my mods are fine, only a few won't work at all. I'm not sure about everything but I do know how to make the Bashed patch. Thats another thing. in Wrye Bash there Tweak Setting for % chance to recover arrows from bodies. I used the perk from Archery tree that's supposed to let you recover twice as many arrows from bodies. When I put the tweak at 100% and use the perk, I actually recover less arrows then I use or I can't recover any arrows at all. Like i'll use 10 arrows, I'll be lucky to recover 7-8 arrows with 100% chance to recover arrows from bodies plus the perk that lets you recover double the arrows you shot.

So does that means I need to exclude it when I merge the bashed patch? Right now its one of 4 mods that can merged into the bashed patch. Nvm I tried making the bashed patch without merging the mod and still not working. Until I get farther into quests only the mods marked with XX don't work for now. The 2 turning all the Housecarls into Argonians did work at first, then I added 2 mods and they stopped working. Didn't like the 2 added mods so I removed them and the housecarl mods continued to not work. As for conflicts, I have no idea what might conflict with what since more then 90% of all the mods I use do not state what they might conflict with. All the mods after (96 DudestiaMultiMarriages.esp) are the ones not sorted by BOSS so I have no idea where to put them since all except the 2 Argonian Housecarl mods work. Is it mod conflicts or just Skyrim being Skyrim when some of the NPC's for the Thieves Guild and Dawnguard factions try to frag me once I conplete certain quests?
