I have a feel doing that will end up modifying some of the vanilla triggers, which is something I have been quite averse to out of consideration for compatibility. I'll look into it, but no promises; if it involves modifying vanilla, I may have little choice but not do it.

The "3 holy sites" one seemed to have been a genuine goof on my end. Apparently I set the testing value to count = 2 and forgot to restore it - will put out a patch asap.

I do run Carnalitas Dei Detenetized but it is far above CDOL in the load order. It is a rather extensive mod list though, so I guess there is some other issues or some other mod that breaks something. Not really something I feel like I can find out with 50/50, especially not with the awful Paradox Launcher

Hi, i've been trying to play some of the three rulers who are available at the start. somehow i keep getting Infirm due to my age. As Deirdre it is manageable even if Muse of the Fairy Lover makes staying above fine a death sentence, As Cleopatra however it can prove difficult without a female lover due to stress accumulating.

I suspect something in the "Echoes of the Past" is not flagging properly causing infirm to pop up at simply "Fine" health.

The Infirm thing can occur if you are anything below 5.0 Health (you can see this in debug mode) and being old (>50) - purely vanilla event, so I can't modify it. If anything, I have tried artificially inflating health values to make it not happen, but still. Even then, if you get going right away you should be able to grab a few health buffs to stay above that while you rack up sexual mastery to prolong lifespan.

 

Also, as I have addressed above to another commenter - none of the bookmark characters have set sexualities, which will cause it to be randomized on load depending on your specific game rule.

I'm really, really enjoying my latest playthrough with this mod!  The lore and mechanics are really awesome and adds alot, THANK YOU for all your hard work!

 

I'm getting the events about suspicion now that my character is 61 and looks 19 I have no idea what's going to happen next but it's going to be epic

Started with a custom character succubus in Ireland, managed to fight and fuck my way to meet the requirements to create the fortress of shadow decision. Everything worked except the creation of the special building. Got a great temple instead of the fortress of shadows. I'm guessing it might be because i started at the 800's bookmark, and was still tribal holdings.

 

The rest seemed to be working fine.

That's because there isn't a "Fortress of Shadows" building. I want to give the decision a more unique name than just "Form X" and the title being centered in Skye made the connection for me. I did plan a duchy capital building, but then it turns out that the duchy's capital is in the Inner Hebrides and moving it via effect doesn't appear to also move the slot for whatever reason so I nixed the plan.

 

The Great Temple is because one of the Leannain holy sites is in Skye.

This decision requires acquiring specific holdings to fulfill its conditions. However, once I obtained those holdings, the decision became unavailable. Is this due to an issue with the trigger conditions, or am I missing something?"

Additionally, here is the revised Chinese localization file that addresses identified issues and has been lightly polished. Please integrate this version into the build.

I've isolated a consistent CTD on game launch with this mod *unless* I move Better Barbershop to the top of the load order which is the opposite of where it's supposed to be.  This is my current load order and seems to be working, or am I doing something wrong?

 

A different load order was working until it wasn't, lol

I can't tell, not going to lie. I do use better barbershop for some customization stuff while testing CDOL, and it seems to work fine; and it works with my oft-used modlist which had something around 120 mods or so.

 

If you use Irony Mod Manager you can delete and reload descriptors which can sometimes help with weird CTDs like this. I'm not sure how you'd do it with Paradox Launcher though. Maybe try un-/re-installing the mod?

Quick update: I can't seem to replicate the issue - I just did a test run as that character, and the decision worked for me. Did you unintentionally fail to fulfill any of the shown or valid conditions?

 

For the decision to show, you need:

• Be a succubus
• Has a dynasty
• Vanilla world setting game-rule
• A faith that either:
  • (with Carnalitas Dei) Accepted Lust (Natural Desire) or above
  • (vanilla) has either Hedonistic or Carnal Exaltation tenet
  • Is any Lilithist religion that is not Umayism or Lilityachakra
  • Is Insular Christianity
• Capital located within Ireland and Scotland
• Highest tier title is duchy
• Not having taken this decision before

 

For it to be valid, you need:

• Be independent
• Maximum prestige level
• Publicly revealed succubus with three trait tracks over 40 exp or being Deirdre with the correct Aspiration
• Culture either has Goidelic Heritage or Language
• Holds the d_western_isles title and c_outer_hebrides title
• Highest tier title is duchy
• Not invovled in an activity, imprisoned or has a contagious deadly disease (bubonic plague, smallpox, typhus, consumption, measles, dysentary).

As much as I strove for compatibility, there is only so much "general" content that you can add before you have to touch things that are generally more inflexible by PDX coding standards; and as a one-person team, I am not capable of testing and providing compatibility for everything under the sun. My focus will be on the vanilla CK3 map (and by extensions, mods in the Generally Fine bracket).

 

There is only so much I can do re: total conversions/map expansions/etc. Outside of The Fallen Eagle and Princes of Darkness (which uses by and large the CK3 vanilla map with minimal changes) I cannot guarantee compatibility with other total conversions. Test/play at your own risk.

 

Alternatively, you could try playing with v0.10 of the mod - it lacks some of the new stuff in 0.11 but should be generally be more compatible with total conversions.

Minor update out, which fixes a few things re: Grand Debauch, as well as adding a mechanism to write a book including your sex memories (which is also available as a standalone as Kieva's Sensual Memoir)

 

Update is optional - doesn't change/modify any core CDOL functionality.

Haven't figured out what within CBO was doing it but I went over there and called them names so maybe they'll fix it 🤣 May be an issue where they've put so many polygons in the char model it blew out the page file even with 32gb of RAM..

 

Also your mod is literally better than POD I LOVE IT

Succubi only. There's is a mechanic to impregnate women, though(not sure whether your traits are inherited). Also, it's kind of waste my 82-prowess shieldmaiden berserk succubus can't engage in battle directly(hmm, there're some battle duel mods, should try them).

Btw, what's happening with personality traits when you awaken succubus ancestry? I lost Possesed (that's not bad) but also Brave and Sadistic, that's quite a meh. I guess, you can have no more than 4 personality traits? Traits to be removed seem to be chosen quite randomly.

You shouldn't be losing more than one personality trait (which would get swapped to Lustful) - I tried testing with a five personality traits character and after the personality change it's still five.
