Hello, I recently decided to upgrade my setup from oldrim to SSE, AE to be precise. I ran into some issues. I managed to resolve most of them (most seem to have been there because of missing dependencies that Vortex didn't detect) but one persisted. Devious Devices keeps registering as incompatible with my (latest) version of AE.

I can actually see DD config in the game and add devices on the model, but, not sure if this is unrelated issue or connected, my player model keeps tposing. I ran FNIS several times but the problem persists. as far as i can tell i have all dependencies for DD. I'll attatch my loadorder and the screenshot of the error message. Please help.

I thought it would have been obvious but apparently it's not. i'm running a 1_6_1170 version of AE and i'm also running the latest version of SKSE that's compatible with this version. I'm also running what i to the best of my abilities can tell is the latest version of DD. It's DD[SE][AE][VR] 5.7.2z.

Unless that's not actually the latest version of of DD or the latest version of DD is not compatible with the latest version of SKSE i'm fairly sure the error message is incorrect but don't actually know where the real issue is.

I believe this because i had similar errors getting detected for Sexlab and papyrus and they went away when i installed missing dependencies (that Vortex was not recognizing) but as stated above, i went over all DD dependencies and made sure, to the best of my abilities, they were all there. I included the loadoarder just in case someone knows of a dependency i missed.

Always a good idea to give the actual versions you have rather than saying "i'm also running the latest version of SKSE that's compatible with this version" as there is no 'latest version'. The version you need is SKSE64 V2.2.6.

As for the DD version try this one:

Devious Devices NG 0.3.7

https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/29779-devious-devices-ng/

Compatibility
Skyrim AE/SE/VR are all supported thanks to Clib-NG.

Note the requirements. Make sure you have the correct version of Address Library for your game.

That's the SKSE version i have. I'll try that version of the mod, just one question, is it stable and complete?

No idea, I don't use DD. Given that you can't get your version running then it can't be much worse. Try reading and asking in the support thread for the mod.

Yeah, unfortunately that didn't solve the issue. For a moment i thought it did but when i reinstalled the proper version of Zaz animation pack (turns out zaz 9 is not compaqtible with sse, that was causing the tposing) the issue with DD started up again.

It seems it's only the expansion portion of the mod that's getting disabled.

I'll ask in the mod thread.
