Jasott Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 I just got back into skyrim after a year or so without playing it (and lerking around LL) I was wondering if anyone could answer some quick questions I have. Are there any "mandatory" mods to help make everything run smoothly? For the TBBP/BBP models and animations is there a base mod needed for them to work or are they all "stand alone"? Are there any breast expansion mods that are compatible with loli type models such as the Children of the Sky standalone?
myuhinny Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33526/? ShowRaceMenu Precache Killer by kapaer is a must if you plan on using lots of cosmetic stuff like lots of hairs without it when you try to go into creation you will CTD/lag if you have too many hair mods because there are so many to load up. Safety Load by kapaer http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/46465/? This mod blocks "Infinite Loading Screen" bug and game freezing during play. ECEE - RANs Enhanced Character Edit Enhancer by RAN46 http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35713/? player creation mod with lots of options for customizing your player at creation. There is another one similar to ECE but I can't think of the name of it at the moment. For the TBBP/BBP you will need the skeleton needed for it plus a body that supports it. Search the nexus for a body that you want. If you do not install TBBP or BBP correctly or have the wrong skeleton it will cause a CTD when you try to start the game.
Guest carywinton Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 As myuhinny stated quite well those are some excellent suggestions, for TBBP or BBP the Monli race has some support for the CBBE body I think, I do not think there are any such animations or body types for COTS, as it is not really needed for them.
WaxenFigure Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 SKSE - the script extender mod. That precache killer depends on SKSE as does a great many other mods. SKYUI is a mod that should be in everyone's list. It not only replaces the in game menus with better ones it also provides the MCM Menu framework for a great many other mod which use the MCM stuff to provide a common and centralized configuration method.
