OK, so after a short argument about what is in the regular options menu and what's not...

I still haven't found a way to extend the duration of the modded menstrual cycle of a given female character.

My impression of this is, that the game mod now makes a female have her period about once a week, or eventually every 10 days?

But this is kinda off, although I accept that some things need to be on higher speed in a game, I highly appreaciate any help to change some settings for a more "natural cycle", like once a month.

@Zikhad Hi sweeet, its been a long time but can i ask a suggestion? is about menstruation period cause im playing and it could be nice a feature that every ingame hour there is a random chance, for example 15-20%, of getting from low to intense pain in the lower chest while being in the menstruation cycle, i think is easy to code in lua but i dont know much in lua so i cant tell. 😢

You can use the "infertile" trait, birth control pills or condoms to negate this. You can even douche for extra piece of mind/immersion.

 

My character has been playing with her zombie friends for months just using birth control, condoms and a douche...no zombabies have been produced (thankfully!)

Great! Thank you, I wasn't aware of these since I've added the mod to an existing save (and didn't pay attention to the pregnancy mod prior to install)

 

Unfortunately, one of the first zombies I encountered got me pregnant. If I could ask, is there any way to remove that (through debug or anything) or do I have to start anew?

I am not 100% about this but maybe try drinking alcohol. See if that function was added

Maybe you can add a cheat-table mod or smth like that to remove that trait from your character, but maybe start fresh on a new save to configure sandbox settings if you do not have much on it can be good 🥰

Happy to help!

 

The only thing I can suggest now is to use debug mode to give yourself the "infertile" trait in your current save/game and see if it "resets" your pregnancy...I have no idea if it will though.

 

I don't know how familiar you are with Zomboid, but it is always good to have a few back up saves for many reasons (especially if you are playing around with mods). I strongly recommend you learn how to do this if you don't already know, it is really nice to be able to roll back a day or two if you are experimenting with mods and they go wrong or you just dislike the results.

 

There are several Youtube vids on how to do this, watch a few and get familiar with the process (its really easy, just setting up a backup folder and a bit of copying and pasting to it). 

 

In all honesty, if you are less than a week into the game, I would just ditch it, start again and back it up...from there, the world is your oyster! Let us know how you get on.

Do I need to follow Fed-Cap (developer of Dynamic Body Shape)'s instructions completely, or is subscribing to his mod enough? He instructs to overwrite some base files to get that working, but it just spaghettifies me, and I'm only using that mod to make this one work/be more immersive.
I'm the mother of monsters, not a glitch monster myself : (


edit: sorry, figured it out, had to start a new game. Pretty difficult trying to work out the quicks and eccentricities of so many mods, I most asked here because people here seem to know more about other people's mods than they do.

The cycle duration is 28 days. From day 6 to 13 you will be in the menstruation period.

Right now we don't have any settings to change those days (only the pregnancy recovery) I might add that in the future.

So, if you start the game in debug mode (-debug in steam options) you can revert the pregnancy and add traits.

Specifically for this mod you can right click, in debug mode more options will be available for you

I started a new game and I turned into a spaghetti monster as soon as I reached "overweight." Now I'm wondering what will happen if I'm normal weight and the baby starts showing. Has anyone else had trouble with the bodymorphs like this?


btw, this mod is absolutely fantastic, I love it so much. I went Sexperiment and set the zombies to sprint. Absolutely top notch mod.
Carrying around 3 litres of spunk in my abdomen would feel weird as hell. Have you ever held three litres in your hands?

LOL. My Fallout 4 "Nora" looks 6 months pregnant from cumflation sometimes (that and eating alien fertility jellies)...big bulging belly on her...absolutely bloody ridiculous!

 

I've never used any actual body morphs in PZ...the guy who made the OG "pear shaped body" mods for PZ was working on a really complex one for PZ with a full slider set like CBBE/FG etc last year, but I don't think it ever saw fruition unfortunately.

I need to return to Fallout 4 at some point, I miss giving birth to deathclaws and supermutants. When my bf saw what I did to that game he went pale and then asked me to marry him!

One of these days I'll find a game where someone has made a mod where I can have a multi-chambered womb, and bear 3-4 simultaneous pregnancies as well as laying the occasional alien egg. Harvesting spunk is fun but putting it to good use is even more fun.

Is there any danger to setting womb capacity to 10000 and milk capacity 25000 in the mod options section?

So my edits and some gameplay got me thinking about some ideas for new traits.
Hyperfertile +10 > +100% fertility, Halves the time before being ready to get pregnant again after birth, increases chance of successful delivery by 10%.
Dairy Cow -6 > Increases milk production rate (+25%) and time lactating after pregnancy (+25%).
Baby Crazy -6 > Decreases Unhappiness, Boredom and Stress when breastfeeding and when getting pregnant. Reduces injuries by 10% when in the 2nd or 3rd trimester. (I have this... I wish real life parenting was more forgiving though)
Dedicated Parent -10 > Reduces injuries, fatigue rate and endurance loss when a baby is equipped, by 20% (my bf has this)
Necromancer -20 > Male zombies become allies after sex.
