Anunya Posted July 13, 2024 Posted July 13, 2024 (edited) Have any of you succeeded in installing Pandora on the Steam Deck? It requires .Net to work, and I have no idea how to install it in a way that works with Skyrim. Any help would be appreciated Edited July 13, 2024 by Anunya
Grey Cloud Posted July 13, 2024 Posted July 13, 2024 No idea about Steam Deck but Pandora installs like any other mod on PC. 1
Anunya Posted July 13, 2024 Author Posted July 13, 2024 Thanks The main concern I have is about whether I have to install .Net on Linux for it to work, and how to do it on Linux.
Anunya Posted July 14, 2024 Author Posted July 14, 2024 So I got .Net installed like this: Open Protontricks Select Skyrim SE Select Default Wineprefix Select Install a Windows DLL or Component Select dotnet7runtime ... let the installation run. This works for C++ redistributed also and all kinds of other things. The problem I have now is that once In install Pandora, I can't locate the .exe in MO2 for some reason. I've installed Bodyslide and Outfit Studio successfully (and FNIS semi-successfully, but not successfully enough so I was going to give Pandora a whirl but no luck so far. I've tried v1.5.1-alpha and v1.5.0-alpha, but no dice.
Anunya Posted July 14, 2024 Author Posted July 14, 2024 (edited) Holy crap what a brain fart! The .exe was further down the list and all I had to do was scroll down to look for it, not look in all the different folders. LOL. Which shows that a good night's sleep often helps resolve blockers when it comes to making mods work. Though weirdly, the Pandora window flickers like crazy when I open it up. It's annoying but manageable if I can't fix it. Edited July 14, 2024 by Anunya
Kastagir Posted July 15, 2024 Posted July 15, 2024 From what I can tell, the Pandora behavior engine is for SE only and this forum is for Skyrim/LE so you've posted this thread in the wrong forum. There is another forum under Skyrim Special Edition that offers Technical Support for your game version. If you post your issue there you are far more likely to receive support from other users of your game version and perhaps even users of this mod (Pandora). Since this mod (Pandora) can't be installed on Skyrim/LE, you aren't very likely to get much help in this forum.
