Options on removing lore-breaking Devious Devices textures?

I have been looking around for tips on this and i must be overlooking something obvious.  When using the mod in-game sometimes my character will be (randomly?) assigned items with textures like fifa stuff, or obnoxious other styles, and it wrecks immersion.  Am i able to choose or "approve" which textures the game uses?  Any input is greatly appreciated.

Uninstall whatever mod you installed that is giving those textures as i've never seen anything fifa related in the default DD stuff

Given the information you've provided, you're probably using devious devices equip. So, that is the mod you'll want to remove.

 you're 100% correct - i am a dumbass that has been modding for a decade and completely blanked on this lol - thanks and i appreciate the reply/
