blipbop Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 I am trying to test out my new modlist, and it is quite extensive. It works mostly fine, but after entering solitude, and Roggvir dying, the games starts breaking randomly everywhere. Even leaving solitude after Roggvirs death, and the game keeps crashing. Crashlog points to all kinds of things and analyzer suggests ninodes and skeletons. Â pplease help me read the crashlog. crash-2024-06-06-19-39-44-REPORT.txt
Bitte helfen Sie mir, das Absturzprotokoll zu lesen. crash-2024-06-06-19-39-44-REPORT.txt 41.71 kB · 0 downloads  as I already wrote in the other thread -> a COMPLETE mod list is also required - without it, detecting mod conflicts is difficult to implement Â

What I always ask myself with such extremely long mod lists:  Did you install them all at once and only then start playing the game ... or did the mods come gradually - but you started a new game every now and then in between?  Because the execution of the gate guard is basically the first thing you do when you get to Solitude - the mistake should have been noticed earlier ... unless you ignore the city for weeks and increase the mod list in the meantime

No, i have been installing and testing gradually, and fixing problems as they came along, this is one of the last ones ( i hope), but it has been consistent, and i have tried to locate the problem but the crashlog always seem to reference different things. I added a mod that postponed the execution for a week, and that fixed it , but as soon as he dies, the games starts acting up.  im sort of at my wits end with this
Ich bin irgendwie am Ende meines Lateins  You use a lot of mods that I don't even know by name... and I've been modifying Skyrim since it first came out more than 12 years ago. But that's completely normal - with the tens of thousands of mods that exist now.  Personally, I would uninstall the game - delete the game directory on the hard drive and rebuild my mod list.  I've done that at least 10-15 times - because I've also encountered such bizarre errors.  But there are people here in the forum who can look deeper into such a crash than I can... so please be patient

Some might be my own esps in there, but they are light. Â I am not completly new to modding, but this is my largest list yet, so i might have to redo it from the beginning. Or ill just make a mod that postpones his execution for like a year.

Or ill just make a mod that postpones his execution for like a year.  My first thought on this is that it is an AI package conflict related to one of the people witnessing the execution.  Maybe make a patch for testing this out that reverts any packages from these people to vanilla state to see if that changes.  Alternately, just disable all attendees and see if anything changes. Might be able to narrow down the problem that way.  EDIT: Thinking further, could also be a script attached to Roggvir that is crashing on garbage collection. traison Posted June 7, 2024 Posted June 7, 2024 If its still required, I can have a look at this as well but I'd require the original crash log. I do my own analysis and would prefer not to do it on data that's already been analyzed in some unknown way; i.e. post the actual crash log if you still need help with this.
blipbop Posted June 8, 2024 Author Posted June 8, 2024 Thank you for your help, guys, i found the culprit, it was the WIDeadBodyCleanupScript Crash Fix 😄 1
