Rimworld Mod Art Request Thread

Hey guys, I'm doing this art request thread to practice my skill for the Rimworld artstyle.

I'm limiting this to a set of textures per request, which is usually 3 textures (North, South and East) for clothing and weapons. per request per person.
You can request more immediately, but you'll have to DM me, as it'll be paid if you want more texture sets in one request as it will count as a commission.
You'll have to pay me for Vehicle art, though.

Please just:
• Provide good, detailed references (pictures are better than verbal descriptions).
• Please wait at least one week before you re-request for free requests.

The time taken to finish each request is based on me. I'm doing this on my free time after all.

Any program that lets you make vector art will get you the closest look to rimworld's style. But bitmap also works, its just vector imposes the restraints that will help maintain the vanilla look. Oskar has a tutorial vid or two on his youtube thats a good watch.

Yeah, what Tory said. I primarily use Illustrator since I'm used to that software for college work. You can also use other vector applications like Inkscape or Affinity Designer. Oscar's videos help a lot, but it helps more if you just try to copy the vanilla in-game objects and understand why and how they're made like that.

Good luck with it. Vector can be extremely different from traditional drawing. It's oddly more similar to 3d modeling because a lot of it is editing points in a space. Get real comfortable with the pen tool and understand anchors to get the curves you are looking for.
