 been getting this weird texture bug on WW MI where characters textures are broken when when the camera is brought closer it fixes itself until i teleport or swap characters

Hey, so I hate to be that guy but anyone able to help me get this mod from Slap for Carlotta's summer skin? I attempted to pay for the skin through Slaps Pixiv plan but keep getting payment errors for the past 2 days. I checked the date this was published and cross referenced the dates for The Discord/lovers lab group and also came up empty handed. I have run out of options. This skin I believe got outshined because this was during the release of Kanou Sakura's cartethyia's skimpy black dress skin. Here is the link for reference of Carlottas mod.

If you know even a little about .ini files, you'll notice that not all functions have a value of "= 0". They are present in every one of his mods and are made for switching height. You can make a huge model or a very small one. All the main clothing functions work correctly; you can go to Patreon and see the same toggles. Don't pay attention to the text file with the toggles; it might be incorrect, I haven't fixed it.

The mod itself is full of redundant values that aren't linked to anything and can be safely deleted. I don't know why the author includes this in every one of their mods. The red error log window was annoying me - I fixed it. I didn't touch anything else.

 

Although, someone already shared an Iuno mod here, and in it, all the unnecessary stuff was completely cut out.

As I've shared in previous posts, I've been experimenting a bit more with my old presets, and I think I've managed to make some improvements.

They're essentially two variations of the concept I had for this preset, which I'll explain later.

I think it goes without saying that this preset is VERY demanding, so expect a drop in performance. Only keep this in mind if your setup isn't very powerful, although you could try using it with the RT shader disabled and the shadow/lighting settings disabled; that should improve performance.

 

First things first, if you don't have Reshade installed on WuWa, check out my previous post (link below); there I give a brief explanation and recommend a video tutorial (credits to Woju).

 

Reshade Installation

 

In the previous post I left a Rar file with the shaders and textures, that one is now obsolete, below I will leave the ones necessary for the preset in this current post.

Since I ended up adding several shaders and wasn't sure which ones you might have, I decided to upload my complete folders of shaders and textures. Just keep that in mind if you've added any shaders yourself besides the ones I shared in my previous post.

To install them, simply extract the files to the folder where you have the Reshade Addon installed. If you have any questions, please refer to step 3 of my previous post.

 

Also keep in mind that ultimately all of this is very subjective; you may or may not like darker or brighter tones, and the color calibration of your monitor also plays a role. I made this preset based on what I thought looked good, but it's not absolute.

 

The filter settings I have in the game are as follows:

I also recommend using a mod that removes the IUD and another that removes the character outlines for a cleaner look.

I'll leave three versions of the preset; 0.8 and 0.9 are essentially the same, but they use a different shader for the ray tracing, so one might work better for you than the other. These are also the presets I used to take the photos I shared at the photography event.

I'll leave a link to the previous post so you can get an idea of what it looks like.

The third preset, 1.0, is one with slightly darker tones and some extra features such as background blur and lighting.

I think the blur effect gives a more realistic feel, especially in some photos, but for practical purposes when gaming it's not recommended because it also affects the UID, making it look blurry or very bright. It's usually momentary, but it can clash with the overall experience.

 

You can disable the blur by simply unchecking the box called ADOF. The other two shaders inside the red box do the same thing; check only one. I recommend using the first or second one. The third one is good for taking photos because it allows you to focus only on what you point the mouse at, giving you more freedom.

The shader for the yellow box simply adds black stripes at the top and bottom, giving it a more cinematic look. As in the images and video from my previous post.

 

 

I'll post a comparison with the blur effect turned on (right) and off (left) so you can draw your own conclusions.

The three presets are in the same RAR file; you can select your preferred one within the ReShade Add-on.

If you have any problems, you can check my previous post in the known issues section. I have no programming knowledge or experience with ReShade, and work takes up a lot of my time, so I don't expect to be able to help much if any issues arise. Fortunately, I believe there are more skilled people in this community who could be of help.

It took me quite a while to find new shaders to achieve a better effect, as well as several tests to understand what each element did, how to adjust the values, etc. As I said, I'm not an expert by any means, so I apologize in advance if the effect isn't optimal or the best.
