I'm not familiar with XXMI I've only used it a couple times, but in the settings in the launcher or maybe wwmi area there should be an option to change the timer or turn off the launcher exiting or something, try turning it to not exit.  That should stop that error message, as a side note I think I got that error once, I just let the game load and I'm pretty sure the mods were working anyway.

I have same issue but the game still openning to me but the wwmi launcher is not closing  , so just exit or End Task the WuWa and Re-run the WWMI

Guess I can  drop a teaser of what I've been working on.

Working on a UI Repack of Nom's Kitsune mod.  
Portraits will probably be out sometime next week.
Each character has a anime HS trope role i.e. class prez, idol, gyaru, shrine maiden, kunoichi, magical girl and so on
Started going into folklore/fantasy (gods, isekai'd knights) due to the amount of resonators
The portraits give a story of their downfall.... NSFW and a little bit of every hanime category.
2 editions being worked on for release:
WuWa HS - young adult age - female/femboy
WuWa MS - younger than HS.
Title is a work in progress.
Ideas for future version if theres a demand:
Mature age - all female/TS
Futa?
Furry?

Make sure you have another Fleur mod, you can just use one Cartethyia white dress also includes fleur mod. I had the same problem as you because of that mod.

Thank you. However, I'm sure I haven't used multiple Fleur mods. This glowing issue occurred after using the skill and should not be the problem with the mod itself.
