req Wuthering waves

Welp, might be the maint going on but now the loader+launcher needed to launch wuwa with mods on (xxmi 7.6 files) doesn't work anymore, guess I'll have to say farewell to my Ishtar Carlotta mod now.

sadly can confirm that xxmi will not launch game no longer for me, just crashes to desktop now. I know it still in maintenance but that shouldnt effect xxmi launching game. 

Anyone else having this problem? like know if only me or if more like me having this

 

UPDATE: nevermind, i ran xxmi as ADMIN and it launched game....i never had to do that before tho, kinda weird

mine works fine, remember again maybe you changed the game engine.ini settings, first step create backup for ur mod file, and try launch it without mod/shader

ye i get it launch sometimes, but since the update it will fail to launch the game for w/e reason now at times. Will try repair and see if that helps any

Note: Delete your old shortcut and make a new shortcut for WWMI. This is what made my mods work and reshade.

Update: seems like disabling reshade allowed me to load the game better

 XXMI just got a major update, including the way it operates. You can read update notes on GB or SpectrumQT patreon.

so basically you can't do anything unless the modding tools creator decide to use directx12 to apply the mod

Monster hunter doesn't have anticheat so you can change game files almost freely. You can't do that with WuWa and other "live-service" games. The only tool we have so far does not support dx12 at all and changing that is extremely hard.

Ok it works, i had to go to the shirtcut and run that shortcut as admin as u said

I'm not completely sure but I think in that particular case it's not a transparency problem but so called moire pattern. I do have similar artifacts but I don't use these mods so it's not a problem for me. And transparency made by using "blend" does have artifacts that's why it's better when modder makes transparency using texture modding tools.

So my wuwa works with Reshade and mods when I turn off Direct11 and does not work when Direct11 is on gacha.

PRIVITIONAL SOLUTION !!!!!
1- XXMI can't start Ultramotion.

2- This d3d11.dll replaces d3d11.dll in XXMI Launcher\WWMI.

3- Select Advanced/Unsafe mode in XXMI settings.

4- Then it starts.

5- F10 can cause the game to freeze.

6- I just checked to make sure I got to the login screen, and it worked.

I don't know if it's the real problem, but I deleted the RabbitFX folder from my mods folder and the game opened normally

 

Surely Kuro touched some graphical things in the game that caused the RabbitFX to close the game, that could also explain why the game is running poorly for me. I play from a laptop with integrated GPU (Ryzen) and before I could play at 50-60 fps with no problem, but now the game is running at 20-30 fps, it has even dropped below 20 fps. Maybe it's a sign to leave wuwa for a while haha

thanks man, got it working almost back to normal again. Still have random crash on startup tho for w/e reason, but better than the 80% chance it had before seeing all that
