my recommendation is, don't stress yourself too much, take someone's mod pack and look for someone teaching how to install xxmi.

XXMI is what will enable you use mods, the other thing i said its because someone created a way to use a lot of mods together, so, after install XXMI, look for the ready modpack which problably have pre installed mod manager and just see basic controls

That's just how I make toggles and I have never really seen it be "$object_detected == 1" although I could be wrong, that's what i'm familiar with

I think it's more that that modder has a template they use for most mods, so they are gonna have in the ini keys assigned to toggles that don't even exist. For example, a bunch of their mods have toggles assigned to tan, even though only a handful actually have tan textures.

It's as simple as installing XMII, going to settings and saving where your actual WuWa is installed in and then throwing unpacked mod folders into the /mods folder in your XMII installation directory.

That's what always annoys me when using his mods. Having to literally press every key from 5-9 and then ctrl + 5-9 and then alt + 5-9 ... and then shift + 5-9 just to see what does what. And sometimes even arrow keys and other combinations.

I always open up the ini's first to check if toggles exist, what keybind they are and if i want to change them, but yeah it is annoying
