if its  what im thinking of thats a known isssue the game doesnt know what model to use so when your same as the other character it makes the model npc version glitch/act weird becausse there are 2 of same characters on the screen

From what other people have said in the original gamebanana post, you might need  to turn on compatibility mode with alt f12. I’m using normal wwmi through the xxmi launcher (which is slightly different compared to normal wwmi downloaded from the github due to configuration). I was curious too if I had the same issue but ig not (4080 super ryzen 7 7800)

Delete the mod.ini and the disabled_modmanagerbackup_mod.ini and rename DISABLED mod.ini.bak to mod.ini. also delete modpath and toggles if you arent using the mod manger. Should work then as long it doesn't need to be updated for 1.4
