i'm probably getting this error because i'm not using a mod manager or something that does some extra steps which are written in the ini file, right? I mean the mod seems more complicated than the usual, it has an additional folder

Also whilst looking through your mod.ini it seems you're using the mod with the selection menu by snaccabus but you have the SelectionMenu.ini in your mod.ini
You should have a Meshes, Resources, RoverSplashMod(just changes the splash in team menu if you haven't changed that yet), Textures, wings folder,

and additionally mod.ini SelectionMenu.ini and Toggles.py files.

As I said before your SelectionMenu is baked into the mod.ini starting from line 723 which in itself should just work but then if there is a SelectionMenu.ini it might mess with the code.

 

Besides that your mod.ini seems completely correct but you might be also just missing this file inside the texture folder for some reason.

Mine works normally as well I didn't change anything and I don't use any skin or mod managers either. Just mentioned that theirs had two files fused into one.

Camellya is the next Character? wonder how long it will take to get mods for her XD

Oh Also, the Update might mess all the current mods up, lets hope it doesn't do too much damage to the mods and there's a quick patch for the mods.

I could've sworn it's because I didn't use python files

thanks for checking it out guys, however I didn't find the issue yet.
what if it really is a forward/ backward\ slash issue? Wouldn't the error repeat for other files?^^ my windows is in japanese Locale btw

Turns out it was this jinxian battlesuit mod, but the message came as soon as I entered Rover's character screen. So sorry for the confusion. (ROVERS MOD IS FINE)

perhaps i can get by deleting the entry in the ini for the facelightmap, jinxians face reflections look fine.

but what purpose would this other missing texture have? Do you guys think getting the texture is simple enough to do the trick?

edit 2 :

I've gotten this jinxian battlesuit mod twice from this thread, turns out either of jiggly.zip or battlesuit.zip has these missing textures.

I attached the correct one (Jinxian battlesuit.zip) in case somebody also installed the faulty one. I don't know if I am allowed to share as a new poster yet but here goes
