I'm sorry if this question might've been posed before.

My game loaded fine without Arms Dealing Mod without crashing. So I'm guessing, ADM was optional? Or VV really need that mod to work properly?

Hi everyone! Can someone suggest me how to make the game smooth with this mod? I installed it just 2 weeks ago, I have all the supplemental mods uptodate too. But since using the mod, the game freezes a lot. Like, every 10 seconds of gaming require abt 10 seconds of just waiting till the game starts acting normal. So basicaly I just wait the game to me normal instead of actually playing it.

I don't want to remove the mod, but it seems like the only decision to get back to normal gaming process.

So I'm glad I'm not the only one having issues with this update.

 

I think the this current patch and katies KW expansion is currently incompatible. Every time I try to start a game, my game essentially starts imploding on itself, like nraas stops working well to point you cant reset sims, besides getting alot errortraps, NPC sims (Like University Mascot, mail man, etc) start duplicate spawning and standing still and you can no longer back sims up in your library.  If anyone knows how to get it working with the current patch i would love to know. otherwise the last version of vile ventures still works with Katies KW expansion and NRAAS.

Me too; I had to delete this mod unfortunately. I keep getting error traps, which corrupt my saves after a while. (It also causes my whole household to disappear, especially if I decide to remove the mod.) I don't play with KW, but I do use Passion. I also get Selector errors whenever I try to select the floor/ground. I tried this with the updated 1.69 version and the disc version 1.67 with this mod on two different PCs, and I have the same results. I do think part of it is due to the patch update with EA, which is the cause of the mod not working correctly. I also think that some elements of the mod should be made separately, since it is a core mod; the more you add certain features, the more likely it will cause problems within the game, kinda like how it turned out with the OG KW(I could be wrong though; I only understand basic coding lol.) I genuinely love this mod, especially the OnlySims feature. However, I do think it needs to be tweaked a little bit, and hopefully, the Vaporizer error will get fixed as well.   Luckily, I don't have any issues with their other mods like the Period Mod, Arms Dealing Mod, and more.

Pretty sure it's Los Aniegos. If you have any trouble getting it running Angel City is smaller and has some of the same lots.

The earlier versions of this mod only had the drug features, but I'm not sure if they're still available anywhere.

i'm loving the mod so far, ty for sharing it! i'm wondering: are moodlet durations tuneable? specifically after smoking weed and woohooing with a big dick.

 

the weed moodlets lasting only 1 hour felt wayyy too short! doesn't feel worth going through the process of buying, rolling, & smoking, plus the possible fines. is it possibly because it was just normal/average quality weed, or does the method of smoking make it last longer? i checked in the tuneables pdf but didn't see a value for any moodlets

 

the big dick problems moodlets were at least a bit longer, but my personal preferences would be to have them last even longer

 

Edit: i figured it out after clicking around some more lol, for anyone else wondering, the tuneables are under "duration" for each drug. still wondering about the moodlet duration for bdp! i didn't see any tuneables for those in the pie menu

This mod does not work for me. I've had in the packages folder and the game just automatically shut down before it could finish the loading screen. I moved it to override and the same thing happened. Is there anything I can do to fix it or any recommendations of similar mods that will work? I just want a mod that allows me to grow and sell weed in the Sims 3.

 did you try the downgrade file that I posted recently in the comments? That seems to be working for people than the current version thats out.

Crashing while loading means you've probably not included at least one of the required mods for this. Read the installation guide.

If you're certain you have all the required mods, my best guess is that your resource.cfg file has not been set up to read an Overrides folder.

If all you want is the drugs part of the mod, the earlier version that @Thepotfairy posted has fewer required mods but it still needs some.

I have all the things needed from the installation guide. It doesnt crash now but it doesnt register in game now

Well, it appears that the reason of my sims stucking was... Lazy Duchess' smooth patch. It somehow produced a hidden conflict with a smoking interaction. I didn't suspect it at all. People who have the same problem (sims stucking after smoking with olomaya's mod) should consider deleting the smooth patch.

Does anyone know if this conflicts with Monopatch, because I installed it to work with some other mods and suddenly this doesn't show up in game. I see the menu for settings when I click on my sim, but the option for it doesn't appear on the computer, phone, or hospital.

 

The only other changes were:

• Cleaned the save with Regul, but the problem persisted with the back up
• Expanded the amount of RAM the TS3 can use

I reinstalled the mod and moved it to the main package folder without any improvement. All the other mods are working correctly and I have all the necessary add ons, so I'm not sure why it's suddenly just decided to stop working for me.

I had this issue before; it was due to the smooth patch mod. I’m using an older version of the smooth patch and it works from with Vile Ventures

Is there a way to cheat the size queen trait onto my sim? She keeps getting OnlySims request that have to do with that trait but it's taking forever for her to get the option to add it.

How do I fix this? All the other drugs work fine but when I want my sim to smoke weed I can't. Does anyone know what's causing this problem?

Have you thought about having the OnlySims career as a separate mod?

 

It's literally all I'm interested in myself.

 

All the drug stuff and scripts and items etc is just gonna bloat up my game which is already unstable enough as it is 😆
