TheMetroidThumper Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 FOR THE LOVE OF GODFUCK SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE A DLL THAT WORKS WITH THE LATEST STEAM VERSION 1.6.1170.0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TheVolcanoGodess Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 (edited) Could it be possible that you missed a download requirement? I only ask because I'm also on the latest steam version and it's working fine for me. Or you messed up the load order? Edited April 5, 2024 by TheVolcanoGodess Forgot to add a reason ~ blep

No, I simply don't have a .dll file that works with the latest steam version of ae 1.6.1170. See below (and don't worry about that weapons repositioner shit, I'll deal with that):
Just Don't Posted April 6, 2024 Posted April 6, 2024 Here. From the pinned SE Compatibility Tracking post. The updated DLL for 1170 is one of the attached files.

I have underwear I can't get off and SoS is not present in the MCM menu. The sos racemenu sliders are all there but they do nothing. It seems the .dll does not work properly.

So looking at my current SOS build, I have a thing called SOS PapyrusUtil Version Beta I think this version was specifically to work around the broken DLL that SOS had. I just simply had the papyrus util overwrite the SOS SE. Hope this thread helps ~ https://www.loverslab.com/topic/95031-schlongs-of-skyrim-se/page/123/

That's what you call ironic. While we're on the subject, are there any .DLLs for the latest versions of OSA, Osex, and Ostim? Because the DLLs of those don't work with 1.6.1170 either.

Oh right, at the time there wasn't a DLL for AE (Few months into 1.6.640's release). Despite that, my sos still functions perfectly on 1.6.1170, very ironic indeed. I guess the question is, do you really need a dll for SOS at this point? Is there a particular reason why you prefer an SOS version with dll specifically? The general consensus was to move away from DLLs for SOS, so the next update wouldn't break the mod set up and force everyone to constantly hound some poor schmuck to poke at it. It comes to no surprise how nice a non DLL version is, low maintenance, and easy to use. I'm not terribly familiar with Ostim and the whole O-system, but you can check in on their help center here. I checked their discord and they seemed to have released a few new Ostim versions for various animation packages. Although this isn't the version maintained by CE0. CE0's version: here
