cisupark Posted March 25, 2024 Posted March 25, 2024 I want to extend slider limits, for example ExtendedShoulderSlider.packagefile below, can you show me how can i do that, or use the file and 2x the limits and upload again for me. i will try to reverse-engineer it to solve. thanks in advance
abacus1 Posted April 1, 2024 Posted April 1, 2024 I've also been wanting to know this and how to expand them also. I can expand the limit to an extent using existing mods but not past the limits imposed on the mods themselves. Please do let us know if you figure it out somehow.
Oops19 Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 One can always clone the slider and apply it two times to double the effect. S4S has some issues editing sliders so you might not want to use it ... or at least don't complain if the slider break after using it. There you can edit the 'Bone Pose' and double all values. Otherwise you can use MorphMaker to re-create the morph and slider/hotspot controls.

I believe they're talking about using Morph Maker (available on mod the sims) to clone and remap the slider. For instance, your slider is triggered by the shoulders. You can clone it and make the duplicate trigger from the calves. So you'd have two sliders acting on the same region, making the second slider extend the first one. If that's what you're looking for, go for it. I personally wouldn't do it because I use a whole lot of sliders and I remap them to many different body parts so I can have more sliders. So doubling a slider would take up one slider slot I could use for something else.

With clone I mean clone - replacing all instance IDs with new ones. It will indeed decrease the number of available hotspot controls if they shall be used to modify the slider. Creating a new slider with Morph Maker and setting the offset/scale/rotation values to a higher value is indeed the better option.
cisupark Posted April 2, 2024 Author Posted April 2, 2024 can any capable one just do it for me? whenever i go into morph maker i just mess things up, not enough experience i think
