levelgrind Posted March 18, 2024 Posted March 18, 2024 Hello! Having some issues with WW and hoping I can get some help figuring out how to fix it! So I installed the most recent updates to Sims 4, then updated my WW. When I go into my game, my Sims won't change clothes (they do the spin animation but the outfit stays the same), won't get naked in the bath/shower (not even pixelated, they shower fully clothed), I can't enter the WW menu to make any adjustments to my settings no matter whether I click on the Sim, the environment or an item. Any options that are under the Wicked menu are clickable, but do nothing, except peeing on the ground (LOL). What I've tried so far: -reinstalling ww -reinstalling without animations folder -deleting ww save file folder, reloading save without ww installed (everything works as intended), saving then reinstalling ww (upon reload, everything is broken again) I haven't tried removing all CC just yet; the only mods I have on aside from custom content is Wicked Whims, as far as I'm aware. I unfortunately have a ton of CC installed and while it is relatively organized by author/type, I don't know exactly where everything is. Is there any way to tell if a particular item of CC is interfering with the mod's gameplay? I do have an exception file I'll attach below. Any help would be greatly appreciated! travelmedic Posted March 18, 2024 Posted March 18, 2024 What is the filepath for your WW installation? Then go back and read the WW installation instructions and see if it's right. Your LE suggests it's wrong.
levelgrind Posted March 18, 2024 Author Posted March 18, 2024 Oh wow. It looks like I had it installed twice? I deleted the one that was nested inside the folders and reinstalled it as per the video instructions. However, I loaded the game and the issue persists. Still clothed in the shower, still unable to access WW menus.

Few months ago was a change that WW works now no more with teens, the Sims that you tried was they young adults or older ?

I tried with a current save file I've been playing, old files and also made a brand new one, still no go.
travelmedic Posted March 18, 2024 Posted March 18, 2024 It may not be WW causing your issues. As stated, recent updates wrecked a lot of mods. You need to check every single mod you have that has a .ts4script file in it and check for updates for all of them.
levelgrind Posted March 18, 2024 Author Posted March 18, 2024 Searching through my mods, I only have one ts4script file, and it's Wicked Whims. I am going to go through all of my CC and see if there's any items I'm using that are making the mod stop working, will take some time to narrow anything down.
levelgrind Posted March 18, 2024 Author Posted March 18, 2024 Not sure if good news or bad news, but I removed all of my CC just now and the issue is still there. Yay? Is it possible I need to uninstall the game itself and reinstall it?
levelgrind Posted March 18, 2024 Author Posted March 18, 2024 So... I fixed it. It was the fact that I had not installed Journey to Batuu, despite having it in the past. I don't reeeeally see why that would mess with any new save games, but... it diiid. Thanks so much to everyone for your help!

Thanks so much to everyone for your help! Nice that you game runs again. ^^ I must keep that in mind, that missing packs can cause problems with save files.
