Difficulty increase?

I would like to know how you do this... Not trying to be condescending. I am genuinely curious.

Well it's easier with Hadvar then it is with Ralof, only because with Ralof you need to get your weapon from the dead body on the floor. So let's just use Hadvar as an example ( Vanilla ) :

So these 2 are both scripted to NOT fight back or get angry at you for attacking them until after your done with Helgan Keep. After Hadvar cuts your bonds he will walk around the room a bit then stop at the door, telling you over and over to check the chest for armor and to look for a weapon. Leave the chest alone and grab the sword hanging on the wall. Now go ahead and equip the flames spell in your left hand and let loose all your magicka on him. While your Magicka is regening  pound on him with your sword. Do this as much as your little heart desires. For maximum gains with sword, have the difficulty set to legendary, for maximum gains in Destruction, set the difficulty to novice. Once you hit 100 in either skill you can just Legendary that bad boy, and either say " ok I'm good got some levels " or just do it again.

This concept is even more blown out of proportion when I use my own mod, Celestials. With Celestials I felt that starting choices for the player are lacking in Vanilla, and so I also give the player a 2hander and a bow at the very start of the game. Not OverPowered at all, just felt it was wrong that anyone who wanted to RolePlay an archer had to wait until almost the end of Helgen when you get to the Bear just to use a darn bow. However, because of this, you now have even more weapon choices to cheese on at the door, and can use the same technique against Ralof since you don't have to touch the dead body on the floor for a weapon until your ready to move on.

There are other techniques for other skills to, that work outside Helgen but can be done easily, like pickpocketing. You can simply find an NPC, successfully pickpocket them, quick save, then open them back up and drop some coin in their inventory. Yup that's right, GIVING them stuff also counts as pickpocketing, since the game thinks maybe your trying to poison them. If successful, simply quick save the game again and now attempt to steal back your money. At any time you get caught simply hit your quick load button and try again. Once you get the hang of it you can do this VERY fast.

Some skills like speech used to be VERY easy in Riften, you could just persuade the guy in the bar over and over, but that was actually fixed in the very last patch for the game to come out. The best way to gain skill in speech now is to buy a crap ton of cheap items, the cheapest you can, ONE AT A TIME, and then sell those items right back to the vendor, again, ONE AT A TIME.

Magic skills : ya this one is pretty simple for the most part. Take alteration. Get yourself the Waterbreathing spell, go find some water and stand about knee deep in it, and cast it over and over. When you run out of Magicka just use the wait function for 1 hour and BOOM, full magicka again. Rinse and repeat. When your skill gets high enough for telekinesis to appear on vendors, go buy it and use it instead of waterbreathing for REALLY fast gains, again, just waiting 1 hour in game whenever you run out of Magicka. With something like COnjuration, get yourself the soultrap spell, and find yourself a dead body. Now cast soultrap on the dead body over and over, using wait when you run out of magicka. Don't ask me why this was never patched out of Vanilla Skyrim, but it wasn't and still works.

If you have any other questions about any other skills or tricks just ask. This turned out longer then I thought and I don't feel like covering everything right now. But, as you can see, skills are REALLY easy to gain in Skyrim once you know how, IF you want to.

I tried the mod "Sands of time". I uinstalled it. Mostly because of dungeon encounters and walking encounters. I was sneaking around and suddenly someone just pops up in front of me like a ghost. But I didnt mess around with it enough. I guess I could increase the distance where the enemies where suppose to spawn, or even turn of the type of encounters I didnt like.

I`m level 41 now. I`m no herotic dragonborn. Thats for sure. My character is a sneaky bow warrior with 100 perkspoint in archery. around 50 in one handed. I also focus on smithing but not enchanting,

I can beat a troll at distance, or a sabre cat. But if I get two animals after my ass I can either bend down or run away. I can beat a deathlord with my sneak skill, but have problems if I face two. Which actually pretty realistic THere is also a bunch of bandits that will knock my ass of. I don`t have dragon overhaul or deadly dragons. Still.... they can to a automate fast kill on me even if I have full health, or kill me with one breath of ice.

My solution for getting it in addition to master level is:

Decrease the rate of money. Money is everything in the game. You buy your skills, you buy ur iron ingots or weapons. I`ve reduced the moneyflow with a mod called cutthroat merchants (an old mod, probably utdated). That mod gave 10% of the money I usually would recieve for a item. It also goes the other way if I want to buy something. A grand soul gem, filled, in my game costs close to 5000 gold. Ebony ingot around 7-800 gold.

I`ve also installed a mod that decreases bounty quest and all other quests that gives you money. I typically get from 100-300 gold per quest.

THis makes it more interesting in spending perks on the speech skill. But later on I`ve quit that too. Much more fun when your struggling all the way.

I got immersive creatures installed. They are almost unbeatable everyone of them.

I got a mod that doubles the difficulty by 2 X. Not so realistic, but very efficient.

Other stuff I have is Sangunies debautchery. When I get enslaved, I most likely will loose all my money, all my gear and have to start over again. Just because I cant beat the enemy that enslaved me. THis actually put me pretty way back all the time. Specially if you dont allow urself to mine, and you have to find all the ingots urself or buy them to make a new armor set.

I actually enjoy skyrim still. I feel like I have to step carefully at nights, and move slowly even in days. Cause there is so much out there that could kick my ass and end my adventurous life.

One thing I wanna try is skyrim redone. I want to try a complete new perk system.
