That is the load order. doesn't matter what Better Barbershop says wants to be last, cause this is a Better Barbershop extension. 

So overwrites stuff in Better Barbershop.

Hi, added an update, I broke the butt gene in last patch, fixed that. Other than that, no changes needed.

I seem to be getting a CTD on launch, and it seems to be coming from Better Barbershop. I've attached my modlist below, and though I don't think any of the outdated mods would interact with BB and cause a CTD, I could be wrong. It happens whether I have just BB and the CBO patch activated, or if I activate Physical Attributes and use that BB patch instead.

Hi, can you share an error.log?

 

The only file that would conflict, is the gui file, that better barbershop changes.

Can you try temporarily remove the gui folder from the mod, and see if it starts up like that?

Sorry, I seemed to have jumped to conclusions! After some more extensive testing, I think the problem comes from one of the workshop mods above Carnalitas, which could be interacting with anything. So I don't think BB may have anything to do with it.

Hi, did you use ruler creator to make the character? There seems to be an issue if you try load an incompatible DNA string in ruler creator, it causes female characters to have penis.

Check the gene_bs_penis_size and gene_bs_penis_thickness, to see if they are penis_size and penis_thickness, not ruler_penis_size or similar.

So i edited the savefiles to make it the correct format, but females characters still has penis, what should i do then?

Hi, can you add this to CBO?

I think for save file, you dont just need to edit the meta part, that is in text format, but also edit the DNA for the character.

The problem is, that the DNA string will depend on what genes you have, not sure if there is an easy way to figure out, what order the genes are and so on.

Hi, only download the PA extension. You should put Better Barbershop at 2nd to last, and Better Barbershop PA extension as last in the load order. (Better Barbershop can be sensitive to load order issues, better put it as late as possible)

Hi, Is that Better Barbershop on the disk? Can you make sure its up to date? (I think version 7.0)

 

This variable comes from Better Barbershop, maybe the version you have is too old.

Hi, Can you try with a minimal load order of just

CBO Base

Better Barbershop

Better Barbershop CBO Extension

 

For me crashes on barbershop usually happens when running out of vRAM (and my GPU has 24GB vRAM... so probably some leak or smth)

 

When  using PA, you dont need BB CBO extension, but I tried with that and had no issues.

Kinda strange that the supported version on BB CBO Extension whows 1.12.5, and for PA its 1.13.*, I think the latest should be 1.14.* for both, can you remove the mod and install it clean to make sure its not due to some old files left there that are causing issues?

Hi, CBO Animation requires CBO Base, you are probably missing the blendshapes for the body mesh that are in CBO Base. (and there is a body mesh with a different skeleton in CBO Animation, so the mesh and the base game blendshapes have different vertex count, and cause these really weird bodies)
