Npc death face/expression

Whenever an npc dies, they close their eyes and mouth and revert to a neutral expression.

 

Is there a way to modify an npc's expression after they've died?

 

mfg and its post 1.9 mods seem to work only on living actors and its effects are reverted after an npc dies.

I think they only work on living npc's sometimes when a enemy dies their eyes stay open but if you go into their inventory just to look or take any of their items from their inventory their eyes will close when you leave it.

mine is not the case if an NPC dies with me I always have the eyes open, sometimes the mouth. it depends on the situation, with a death-scream is then the mouth open.
Maybe it is up to the mod that you are using, maybe he blocked this effect!

bei mir ist das nicht der fall , wenn bei mir ein NPC stirbt dann sind immer die augen offen , manchmal auch der mund . es kommt auf die situation an , bei einem todesschrei ist dann der mund offen .
vieleicht liegt es an dem mod den du verwendest , vieleicht blockiert er diesen effekt !

Get the decapitation perk.   That should change their expression.

Why would they have expressions? They're dead! And rigor mortis takes some time.

But i think i have some mod (may be the realistic ragdoll physics one) that makes their faces "ragdoll", ie mouth gets opened if the neck is bent and so on.

this possibility has been around, you just have to find an animation modder would do it!

I personally such would also like anim determined there are many people who support this.

mir persöhnlich würde eine solche anim auch gefallen , bestimmt gibt es viele menschen die dies befürworten .

The animations already exist, and occasionally, dead npcs do have expressions on their faces. I'm trying to find a way to control the occurrences and make it happen when you want.

I just realized that this may be tied to killmoves. I think there is facial animation in those.
