As i mentioned above, i know its in the works for the future, but i also know there is a mod on Nexus called ReMakeCharacter by Yangff link to the mod below, however, im quite intimidated to use UE4SS and have it tamper with my save data, so im asking if someone (perhaps Yangff themself) could repack/recode it (im not great with modder jargen) to a .pak for easier installation and less possibility for save corrution, cuz so far .pak files have never corrupted anything in my game sessions/saves... so far anyway.

ue4ss is super easy. you just drag it into your binaries folder and then make a LogicMods folder by your other .pak and place them into there.

pal/content/paks (pal/content/paks/mods or pal/content/paks/~mods folder is also Okay FOR NORMAL .pak files) for Logic Mods just place the LogicMods folder next to the mods or~mods folder and done.

thanks for the responce! but, then there is the issue of the possible save corruption, and i've looked everywhere in the palworld directory and cant find the save file anywhere to back them up, im baffled... (if u cant tell im not great at in depth modding, just the simplified stuff like the, as you call them, "normal .paks")

Save Games can be found on this path;

C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Pal\Saved\SaveGames

But you might wonder how you actually get here, as AppData is sometimes hidden. Open Windows Explorer (assuming you are on Windows)

In the address bar at the top where it gives you your path, replace it all with %localappdata% . This will take you to your AppData/Local folder, which is where the saves are located.

Scroll down the list until you see the folder named Pal, and follow the path above. Your saves are found inside SaveGames.

Thank you! next question how exactly do i back it up? do i just copy the "savegame" folder somewhere else for safe keeping until something brakes or...?

Yes, you do! It's what I do anyways, copy and paste the entire SaveGames folder.

Though you should know, I do this as an extra precaution. The game autosaves every 30 seconds, if you venture into the SaveGames folder and find your world's folder, there is a 'backup' folder containing backup files of your world, player files, .etc
