Give me a little while, I can do it, but my computer is still in the shop. will be done before mid November, but I won't do the Dark optional file because it only has the pubic hair option, and that looks really bad with the way these patches are made.

Damn, that's some awful timing lol, I just started using Zhizhen's skin as my main CBBE texture replacer after switching from Diamond... At least, it's good to know it wasn't just my questionable modding skills

Hey, using dw's 3ba schlong + BnP and the patch doesnt seem to work for me. I made sure to install 2.0 textures from BnP and the same options in your FOMOD, mod order is correct in MO2.

I might turn my brain off and enjoy the Christmas holidays, and if I decide to come back during or after, I'll do Eos, Marshmallow, or BnP extra options, and if enough people want it, yeah, I could throw in ALT2. I think I've seen some nice screenshots with it. I will wait to see how many people want it though.

If you've noticed, there are no patches for pubic hair variants of skin textures because making patches of those variants looks blurry and shitty where it blends.

 

Zhizhen's ultra dark only has pubic hair, there is no pubic hair-less version,, so it will be guaranteed to look a little shitty.

Is fair skin complexion still popular? I guess it has more downloads than Diamond, but it did come out 3 years before Diamond, so it has an advantage. If more people ask for it, I can consider it.

It is possible, but I listed some conditions earlier in this topic for me to make patches for it. because it will be a lot of work to retroactively patch every skin texture.

 

I said I'd make patches for TRX cages if it either became popular (it has ~2,500 downloads) or I saw some nice screenshots of it (I've seen a couple, but I wanted more to inspire me to make it).

 

Unfortunately, it feels like cages didn't end up being very popular, and most of those nice screenshots never came.

Unfortunately, I can confirm that the diamond skin patch (I used them for DW3BA and trx horse) does not work with the newest diamond skin edition, at least for me. I am using vortex. A patch would be extremely appreciated if you have the time, since Diamond Skin is by far my favorite.

 

I am using the following version of Diamond Skin: "Diamond 3BA puffy pussy normal maps" from the 22nd of November 2024. So yes, a very, very recent version.

I think I understand what your issue is. I don't need to update the Diamond patch, but based on what you've said, what I think you've done is only installed the puffy pussy textures, that file only contains normal maps. You'll have to install the diffuse maps, specular maps, and if it's to your taste, the subsurface maps as well, those can be found in the file 'Diamond Textures CBBE v2 based on FSC v11'.

 

I looked at the new update on my end, and there aren't enough differences to cause a seam using my patch. I made 3 images that show where 2.4b and 2.5 are different in the spoiler, wherever there is color on these images, it is where 2.4b and 2.5 are different.

Spoiler

Diffuse map (no difference, except a tiny bit of artifacting from .dds compression that won't show up in game.)

Normal map (some on hips/butt area and that wouldn't be a problem for this patch.)

Specular map (same as diffuse.)

I appreciate you bringing the update to my attention, but most of the update was for UNP/BHUNP, and I will update Diamond the moment I need to, it is still one of the most popular skins for this game.
