chivaleroncross Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Hello and thank you for your time reading this. So for the problem is, i have more than 400+ mods and 200 of em I've been deactivate or ghost via Wrye Bash, however I'd like to delete the mods even from Meshes or Textures folder. The problem is, are there any easier way to delete the mods without doing it manually? Since I worry sometimes the Mod I want to delete have association with other mods that I don't want to delete.Â
gregathit Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 If you manually installed the mods then no, there is no easy way to remove them. Â Now if you installed things via OMOD (OBMM) ,or better yet via BAIN (Wyre Bash) then removing things would be a snap.
Lodakai Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 The best thing you can possibly do if you want to mod that heavily... Start from scratch.. clean install.. and start using mod organizer instead. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/1334/ There is a guide available here http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Mod_Organizer AwfulArchDemon also has provided both some support and a guide locally here http://www.loverslab.com/topic/20492-mod-organizer/
movomo Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Long time no see Chevy! My recommendation is to use Tes4Files and OBMM/Wrye. Use Tes4Files to extract mod data files and overwrite with it using any mod manager. And then delete! You should do it with care though, as sometimes Tes4Files cannot report some data files.. for example, Break Armor meshes cannot be recognized by Tes4Files as they are not assigned in the .esp. Pose mods too, Tes4Files frequently fails to extract some idle animations/ or extracts wrong files.
