I remember reading a case from a while back, I forget what it was - I think it was a thief who stole something valuable and posted it anonymously on craigslist.

They caught him because the wood grain in the table he took a picture of the item on matched perfectly to pictures he posted on facebook.

It's not "what can they get from my DOB" that is the issue. It's what other information are you unintentionally giving away. Agencies like the FBI catch people selling drugs on toor by doing analysis on their metadata, login habits, and other indirect forms of information. people's entire jobs that they almost certainly get paid more than you do for are looking at how they can use information unintentionally shared in new ways. You're freely giving a sample of your handwriting and maybe not the details of your ID but for someone determined enough information around it that you are putting yourself at risk, just so a child stealing their parent's ID can bypass it anyways and inconveniencing / harassing the rest of a community to do so. It's dumb in practice. It's dumb in principle.

I'm still waiting on anyone with access to post proof there is any content worth accessing at all. Even just an edit to the OP "Hey guys, new release <screenshots of content so far>come download on dickscord (verification required)" or like some progress updates or literally anything to give credit to this not being a farce

You understand that you can be tracked based on your handwriting. personality traits are displayed within hand writing. which is something they actually check in forensics. You also have your signature i.e your hand written name on your ID. so even if we black out the ID. You are still giving out you not just your date of birth, but you hand writing.

Well that's something at least. Although there are a few body replaces out there already that are openly accessible, include titty physics, and updates to armour to suit the new body.

we should probably stop the discord discussion before the mods close this again, when (if) the mod releases someone WILL leak it here or somewhere else, there are other mods but id prefer this one due to it including feral but I'm not willing to expose myself to the shitshow that is discord for it.

Look what you do is your choice but it is worth it imo. You can cover or edit everything else out on your ID except the DOB. Face included since some people think the face is required.

But you exist in a society that has police. What happens when you get subpoena because one or more users who are on your server were doing other illegal crap that was traced back to their usernames, and the cops now want all your verification information for their investigation. It's not that I do or don't trust you (I don't) it's that the information linking IRL ID -> discord ID does not and should not exist in any form. You could get hacked, the verifier could get hacked, both of you could receive warrants for information, it is a mess you are willingly choosing to create.

Why use such a weird authentication measure to start with? It can't possibly be to protect the kiddos because stealing a parents ID is simple enough a dumb child could do it. What is the actual reason?

So i read a few things in the old thread and apparently people don't read what the bot says. We don't need your ID. The requirements we have currently are:
1. Edges and some blank space on your id must be visible.
 

2. Birthdate on id must be visible, everything else can be censored.
 

3. Image must include physical writing (like on paper) with your current discord username (not display name), and today's date on it.
 

4. Image must be readable, if it is too low quality or blurry it will not be verified.

No identifying information other than your DOB is necessary but the id MUST clearly be real.

Will this mod have nude pal models of both sexes, or is it a human sex mod that's been done billions of times? It's a tad vague what exactly is being planned here.

Even though is bit strnage why not upload it here too though as loverslab require age verification as well. Plus am not even american citizen anyway. However wish to ask, once there is some significant progress, will be something posted here, as on this side saw much viler things then what was decribed here if am honest.

They responded to my similar question saying they had no plan to release it anywhere other than discord.

There's drama because they are linking a discord that wants ID while at the same time claiming the mod won't be uploaded here.

Basically a very good way to aggravate people.

majority of games don't have sex mods because a lot of games don't have very moddable engines. either they lack frame work for animations to be added or would have to decompile the entire games basically developing an entire new game from scratch. or companies themselves stomping them out. (*cough* nintendo, capcom *cough*)

 

the issue in this particular thread is that the author of this post said they won't ever upload it here and have given very weak reasoning for all the hoops they want everyone to jump through to obtain their mod. however as others have said we can just wait for people to leak it.

there are way more modders on this site working on the same thing right now. PAL world just happens to have much more accessibility to modding then a lot of modern games. plus the promise of modding tools also helps. So i don't really think you need to worry about it that much unless custom animations just cannot be done.

 

the problem right now as far as modding goes is a lot of mods are currently prone to crashing (it is early access after all.)
