keitolainen Posted January 29, 2024 Posted January 29, 2024 (edited) Hey. I've been using BM Licenses for a while now, and just decided to try out this mod. Can you explain what the dialogue patch is that you mention? Is there a patch to BM Licenses out there that changes the dialogue, and your dialogue patch version matches it, or does your "Dialogue Patch" version change BM Licenses dialogue itself? What dialogue is changed? I'm a little confused. Thanks! Edit: I figured it out. If anyone ever needs tips on how to be an idiot on the internet, let me know. Edited January 29, 2024 by keitolainen

Turns out the "Dialogue Patch" is an option inside Licenses' installer. When you install Licenses you can choose to use the "Dialogue Patch" or not. Basically it changes the mod's dialogue slightly to be more lewd. The dialogue patch version of this voice pack is designed to match the alternative dialogue option in Licences. The non-"Dialogue Patch" version of this mod matches the default dialogue of Licenses. Hope that helps. I'm glad I wasn't the only one a little confused. 4

cerebus300 Posted March 6, 2024 Posted March 6, 2024 Okay, the files are confusing me. I get what the dialogue patch in Licenses does, and I have installed it. What I don't understand is which files do I download and install? The post says to download the aa and ab parts of the file and zip them together. Okay, that would be fine, but then there is a 1.12 file that is labeled as: Licenses - Voices 1.12 - With Dialogue Patch.zip. So, which of these two do I download and install? Or, do I install both of them? I'm getting a feeling that the latter file is an update and replaces the previous split file, but I don't know for sure, and the info in the post is either outdated and/or doesn't address this conflict.

Could you please confirm this is true?

Could you please confirm this is true? You only need the 1.13 files, I was generating extra voices that weren't needed for 1.12 which is why those files are larger. I've stepped away from skyrim for a bit so not sure if these will still work with the most recent version or not, I can generate new voices if there are updates that need to be made for 1.15
Dez65 Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 Hi - your mod has been great with Licenses but that mod has been updated to 1.18, with a lot new dialogue. Don't mean to press at all but I was wonder if you would be updating your voice mod. Thanks for your excellent work!
Sorrow_421 Posted August 31, 2024 Posted August 31, 2024 Yo, I have a really genuine question right now, but somehow it seems that I struggle to define what is real and what is not right now? I am drunk AF but even if I am drunk AF it still made me raise my brows.... I just saw that Licenses - Player Oppression has 36,679 downloads. While this XVASynth3 mod for "Licenses" has 118,938 downloads. Yeah I'll go to sleep... But how in the fuck is this even possible? Either this mod must have been updated like every day or I am tripping. It's the first time that I see a Voice mod that has more downloads than the mod it's intended for. It just seems like opposite of what it should be. Ahhh.... I see! I'm in a different dimension right now!Yeah..... That's it! Once I got to sleep and wake up, the ratio will be balanced as it should be. Right? HOW THE FUCK! DOES THIS HAVE 100k downloads? No hate really! Congrats!

Licenses is also on Nexus so I assume the delta would be from there. Also a friendly reminder to drink lots of water, tomorrow's you will thank today's you. 1
Nuascura Posted August 31, 2024 Posted August 31, 2024 @Ondine. @Sorrow_421 I had the same thought, haha. Your download-to-view ratio is insane. LL doesn't track for unique downloads, so since Ondine uploads in pairs, maybe you can divide the download counter by two. Not 100% sure since Ashal's the one who manages this site. The rest can be explained by what Ondine said. Just add Nexus downloads to LL downloads, adjust for common duplicate downloaders. Note that mod lists, if they do still have LPO on their lists, prefer Nexus over LL since Nexus never fully deletes uploaded files. 1
DrSeptimus Posted May 1, 2025 Posted May 1, 2025 (edited) Darn, it was now at version 1.23.4 and this version 1.23.3 doesn't seems to work with it. Would you update it anytime soon? Edited May 1, 2025 by DrSeptimus
Kingslayer101 Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Im having trouble downloading the Licenses Voices file. Everything else downloaded but this one is taking hours, I've tried my phone and VPN too but something is up with the hosting here.
