Erotic Art Expanded comes with 44 magazines and over 800 buildable posters.

This is my attempt at making both the posters and the magazines more appealing.

 

Would be great if someone helped me.

I'm a total noob with everything that is not copypasting porn into textures. 

So, if you like what I do, want more of that and know a thing or two about fallout modding and scripts I'd appreciate some help

with making this a standalone mod and expanding it to house some square paintings too. Message me if interested.

 

Installation:

1. Install original mod (use "esp")

2. Install expanded mod

3. Install this mod's retextures.

 

For avoiding a performance hit (very small) and to reduce loading times (slightly) I'd recommend you

1. Unpack original mods' BSAs

2. Replace textures with my textures

3. Pack the BSAs back

Completely unnecessary, relevant only for those with OCD or owners of really old PCs. Can't do that myself due to loverslab limit on filesize.

Vanilla magazines retexture  (all vanilla magazines + 6 restored Taboo Tattoos)

Missing magazines retexture (+10 magazines with perks)

Wasteland Imports magazines retexture (+14 magazines, consumable, +1 magazine with perk)

Strong Legs magazine retexture (+5 magazines with carryweight perk)

Retexture of Ketaros' New Magazines (+91 magazines, with perks)

SS2 Wasteland Venturers icecream magazines (+8 magazines, allow to cook icecream)

Backpack of the Commonwealth magazines retexture (+5 new magazines, each allows to craft a backpack)

Retexture of Fahrenheit1984's XXX magazines (+73 magazines, no perks)

Erotic Art Magazines retexture (+44 magazines, allow to build erotic poster at your settlement)

Hentai retexture of Companion Ivy magazines (+73 magazines, no perks, added to the world via object swapper and leveled lists)

PiCSeL's Standalone Custom Magazines 1.0.0 (+320 magazines, no perks, added via leveled lists, standalone)

There are 72, all classic real world porn mags

My dude, I took a look at Ivy magazines. There are 72 of them and all have unique names, most of those names are dumb and in German or something. It would be very time consuming and boring to trace each logo carefully and put in onto a new image.

 

So, here's the deal. I will make a hentai retexture of those mags but with my own label on top of it. And you will create a .esp to rename ingame magazine label to fit my covers. How about that? 

 

Would do that myself, but I don't know shit about ESPs. All I know is photoshop.

How about a collab, I do the hentai covers, you do alt version of your CompanionIvy_MagAddon6 mod with my names for the magazines.

The Custom Comic Framework.

 

I don't really understand how that work. First, what does his mod actually do? Does it place new magazines into the leveled lists? Does it use ObjectSwapper?

Second, is that a template dor a standalone mod? Or do I need to keep his mod in load order too?

Third, can I have multiple addons for that mod working at the same time?

it places new magazines throughout the game, only a mx of 80 can be added, it can use object swapper to replace the burnt magazines

So, the magazines are not hard-placed into the world, but are randomly injected via object swapper and leveled lists. Correct?

No, don't think so. Not for Fallout. It feels like I've done too much already, it will take a year of two-hours-a-day sessions collect all the magazines. Don't think there's demand for more. 

 

Ads, banners, posters - retextrured. Even Erotic Art got a retexture. It feels like there would be no value added to the game anymore if I introduced more porn textures.

That's not an overlay. It's baked in. I made them that way by purpose.

I don't know about other users but i prefer undamaged books and painting generally speaking. That is just my personal preference.
