[mod] Harem Master Trait

Just out of curiosity, if this mod requires the Ideology DLC anyways, why create the behavior as a trait, and not as a precept for ideology (probably separate from marriage precept)?  Not that it really matters to achieve the end result, but overloading the trait pool results in what is basically crappier pawn generation...

This trait is never assigned on pawn generation, you have to manually add it using dev mode or one of the many pawn editors out there. The idea was to be able to give this to a single pawn, while the rest of your ideology was still bound by the regular limits.

An annoying part of ideology I found is if you were to set your ideology to alloy multiple partners, (male or female) that it applies to all pawns of that gender. If you just wanted only your leader to be able to have multiple partners but not the rest of the colonists matching your leaders gender, that isn't really possible.

 

This small mod is designed to work around some of those problems. Any pawn with this trait will ignore their ideo limits for partners. (They will still be bound by their sexual preference.)

 

The fantasy, I guess you could call it, would be to allow your colony leader to have their own harem while everyone else is kept to single partners only to prevent weird sleeping arrangement problems.  You create your ideology to only allow males/females to have a single partner, and then add this trait using Character Editor (or similar)

I guess if the trait doesn't assign on pawn generation, it doesn't really matter.  Just seems weird to have to apply it manually and not have it as a precept that overrides the marriage partner precept for leaders only.  Your mod, you do you.

Hey author, i want to ask if you have any issues regarding the pawn with the harem master trait not being able to have multiple lovers? maybe its linked through the harem master trait not being affected by the precept of men's/women's lovers, cause the harem master trait only affect the number of spouses precept and not the number of lovers precept (I will attach some images on what i'm referring to). my guess is that the number of lovers precept is maybe it's related to the compatible issue with the way better romance mod stated from two users from this mod forum comment months ago :

but anyways this mod is a really nice concept and a godsend. maybe you can publish this mod on steam. since it's not related to nsfw stuff, it only affects the ideology. but if you're not comfortable with it, it's alright for me.

Banished and beated, <color=#D09B61FF>Theisa</color> visited <color=#D09B61FF>Khaine</color>, a powerful spirit in deep meditation, to ask him become her champion and defeat Ladrielle. She gifted him weakening chains, for she wished not for more of her kin to be slain. "Perhaps, all she needs is a showing of Love" she imparted Khaine.
Khaine, on his journey then came upon <color=#D09B61FF>Ireth</color>, who had her father slain by Ladrielle. As an act of vengeance she gifted him a spear she dubbed the "Cunt Impaler".

 

Armed with wisdom and divine equipment, Khaine singlehandedly defeated Ladrielle's wretched followers. When even she was cast down she looked up to Khaine, astounded. "I don't understand, how did you defeat me so easily?"
"Because I am in tune with the Natural Order. Destruction is a part of life, there is joy and meaning to be had in it, yes." he said as he bound her in shackles. "But there is more to Life." He took out his cock and lowerd over her. "Open up." he commanded.

He could never be everywhere at once, nor did he find every woman worthy of his time. He then offered a solution: his great spirit will flow into a few select men, making them greater and worthy. Ladrielle found this acceptable, though she urged him to spread his seed as well. Khaine agreed.

He visited Theisa to thank her for her gift, and with the help of Ladrielle, he forced himself inside the Goddess of Wisdom and impregnated her on the spot. "Not quite the gratitude I was expecting, but I shall carry and bear our child into this world with Love, as a thanks of my own.", Theisa said. "I'd like to expect you to be less rude though, the next time."

 

Ireth, discontent with Khaine's decision to let Ladrielle live, tried to hunt down the converted goddess. As she laid in wait, Khaine surprised her from behind and pinned her down. "For someone to ask me to hunt a cunt down, you're acting much like a cunt yourself", he said as he lowered her pants and aligned his cock to her glistening cunt. Understandable reaction. Feel free to make him the villain of your story. Two points though: 1. he did save the world from chaos and strife (whatever that means). 2. He was encouraged by the goddesses to do those things, while Theisa may not have quite meant it that way, she probably did mean for Ladrielle to have a family to care about. Also Ireth was implied to slay humans as vengeance so she had to be stopped one way or another.

 

But yes, it is also him agreeing and doing those things.

It's kind of a Zeus situation: Zeus is the savior that ended the rule of the titans, and he is the chief of the olympic gods. But he did do a lot of questionable shit too lmao
