[mod] Harem Master Trait

Use your ideology settings to prevent regular polyamory marriage in general between all your pawns.

The trait from this mod added to a pawn allows that pawn to ignore all ideology partner limits. It enables them to do polyamory marriage regardless of ideology settings.

I saw this mod and thought to give Rimworld another spin. In my tribe the religion/ideology(The Natural Order) centers around this idea of one harem leader but I hadn't really been able to put it into practice. Then I read the backstory of the religion and it just.. lol.

Enjoy if you'd like to read it lmao:

Spoiler

When the Old Gods ruled, <color=#D09B61FF>Ladrielle</color>, Goddess of Destruction, set in motion a plan that eradicated the old order. With most of the Old Gods dead or gone, she now took control of everything, plunging the world into chaos and strife.
Banished and beated, <color=#D09B61FF>Theisa</color> visited <color=#D09B61FF>Khaine</color>, a powerful spirit in deep meditation, to ask him become her champion and defeat Ladrielle. She gifted him weakening chains, for she wished not for more of her kin to be slain. "Perhaps, all she needs is a showing of Love" she imparted Khaine.
Khaine, on his journey then came upon <color=#D09B61FF>Ireth</color>, who had her father slain by Ladrielle. As an act of vengeance she gifted him a spear she dubbed the "Cunt Impaler".

Armed with wisdom and divine equipment, Khaine singlehandedly defeated Ladrielle's wretched followers. When even she was cast down she looked up to Khaine, astounded. "I don't understand, how did you defeat me so easily?"
"Because I am in tune with the Natural Order. Destruction is a part of life, there is joy and meaning to be had in it, yes." he said as he bound her in shackles. "But there is more to Life." He took out his cock and lowerd over her. "Open up." he commanded.

Though rather than fighting it, Ladrielle found her legs obey his command. As the Goddess of Destruction she never had anyone dare to be close to her. Khaine forced himself into her that day, and the next, and each day thereafter.
Ladrielle found her belly to grow often, and gave birth many times. Though rather than abhorring the next moment Khaine would visit her, she anticipated it with growing excitement. After a year, the shackles were unnecessary, and she started to live with him.
Feeling less fond of Destruction she now rejoiced in submitting to her man and spreading her legs, or going on her fours for him. Thus she redubbed herself "Goddess of Hierarchy".

As the Goddess of Hierarchy she felt compelled to spread her newfound passion to all other women. As she found other men to be pitiful creatures compared to her own man, her belief was that only He was worthy to dominate all women. Though Khaine rejected this notion once she offered it. He could never be everywhere at once, nor did he find every woman worthy of his time. He then offered a solution: his great spirit will flow into a few select men, making them greater and worthy. Ladrielle found this acceptable, though she urged him to spread his seed as well. Khaine agreed.

He visited Theisa to thank her for her gift, and with the help of Ladrielle, he forced himself inside the Goddess of Wisdom and impregnated her on the spot. "Not quite the gratitude I was expecting, but I shall carry and bear our child into this world with Love, as a thanks of my own.", Theisa said. "I'd like to expect you to be less rude though, the next time."

Ireth, discontent with Khaine's decision to let Ladrielle live, tried to hunt down the converted goddess. As she laid in wait, Khaine surprised her from behind and pinned her down. "For someone to ask me to hunt a cunt down, you're acting much like a cunt yourself", he said as he lowered her pants and aligned his cock to her glistening cunt. "So that gives you the right to impale me, huh?", she sneered.
Khaine scoffed and pushed inside. As he pounded her into the ground he told her. "Now you're going to do as I say", making sure every word was felt alongside the pain of his cock hammering on her cervix. "You're going to leave Ladrielle to her own, and you won't enact vengeance on our children. Instead you will take the all seed I'm going to fill you up with, and nurture it into children, strong and wild like you." Despite Ireth's will to snap back at him, she couldn't, with all the moans forced through her throat, and that cock torturing her cervix. Khaine noticed Ireth becoming weak in her limbs and he barely had to pin her down anymore. It was time, he used his legs to jackhammer into her pussy, and when they both came he shot his entire load straight into her conquered womb.

Thus the hunter became the hunted. Afterwards, Ireth would not come to Khaine, unlike Ladrielle, Theisa, or many other women would, but she would leave behind hints and messages on the location of her next hunt, and would not make it easy.

Throughout his life, <color=#D09B61FF>Khaine</color> impregnated many women, including goddesses, spirits and nymphs. With Ladrielle he had innummerable children which would eventually become the humans of this world. Theisa conceived many of his children who became the elves. And Khaine's successful hunts on Ireth resulted in the birth of many barkkin.

The leader role in my village is called "Khaine's Chosen." While moral guide is "Ladrielle's Chosen". Male supremacist, proselytizers, etc 😛

It's just a mod to disable ideology marriage restrictions on trait, so I think it's safe to release it on Steam workshop.
I think a mod that allows harems with trait would be in demand in workshop.

特性でイデオロギーの結婚の制限を無効にするだけのMODだから、Steamのワークショップで公開しても大丈夫な気がする。
特性でハーレムが可能になるMODはワークショップでも需要があると思う。

Hey Author Onslort, I wanna ask if you are still maintaning this mod? Cause you've been radio silent even though you visit loverslab recently, If not I can try to update and implement the override lover Precept.

I still read comments and make sure the mods are still running as they should after updates. There's just a lot of games out there to play and so I'm not always playing rimworld.

There is an ideology setting I use, which I can't remember the exact name of offhand but it's something like 'loving, free and approved'.  It prevents pawns from getting angry that their partners might be sleeping around.

But that said, please feel free to add updates if they will help you (and others.)

the link just takes me to this page

This attachment is not available. It may have been removed or the person who shared it may not have permission to share it to this location.

This should come with a shared bed exception. It don't know how well that would affect other pawn. Exceptions are very fun and a beefed up version of this trait would be cool.

Would a reciprocal version of this trait even work?

Is this mod still being worked on? I think it worked in 1.5 but then stopped and I cannot figure out why.

It works and it only needs the Ideology DLC, not even RJW

How did you get it to work? I had it at one point, but either a mod update or something else caused it to stop. My pawn can no longer romance more than one pawn when before basically the entire colony was in a relationship with it. Does Load order come into play any? I read someone said you needed "free and approved lovin" but I had it running before that unless its a recent change.

I do not know to have it not work other than remove the DLC. It works with or without RJW. Must be a mod conflict. It's is an very simple mod.

I think I found it to be way better romance. it alters precepts by adding the lover precept... That is my only guess as I have no other romance mods.

I believe I've run into the problem Drlizardman ran into. If you have Way Better Romance installed, the precept 'Women's Lovers' will retroactively remove any relationships that exceed the limit.

Love 5 pawns with a precept of 2 lovers, you will lose 4 partners if you romance a new one.

Is there a fix, or is someone who is using the two mods not experiencing this issue?

Edit: Fixed it but I can't upload or compress the file, so if you want to fix it yourself you will have to wait or open HaremMasterTrait_Patch.xml and copy/paste chunks of the code and replace any duplicated instance of 'Spouse' with 'Lover' here's a snippet example

<!--
...
SpouseCount_Female_MaxFour
LoverCount_Male_MaxOne
...
-->
...
	<Operation Class="PatchOperationSequence">
		<operations>
			<li Class="PatchOperationTest">
				<xpath>Defs/PreceptDef[defName="LoverCount_Female_MaxOne"]</xpath>
			</li>

			<li Class="PatchOperationAdd">
				<xpath>Defs/PreceptDef[defName="LoverCount_Female_MaxOne"]/comps/li[@Class="PreceptComp_UnwillingToDo_Gendered"]</xpath>

				<value>
					<nullifyingTraits>
						<li>Harem_Master</li>
					</nullifyingTraits>
				</value>
			</li>
		</operations>
	</Operation>
...

Just don't copy the bottom </Patch>
