This thread is for discussing the game, not randomly uploading whatever mods are out there. Since InZoi is perfectly available via steam and looking to become a pretty popular game, mod uploads should go in the file page system, provided ofc that it's your mod or that you have permission.

The best game with character customization and tons of mods for now for me is sims 4. With its wicked whims and tons of mods to add to it. InZoi seems to be even better at everything than sims 4... yet even at damn character customization my potato of a Game rig got quite hot. So I hope that there will be better optimization because I can't belive that my pc will survive full open world expirience. I would need to at least upgrade my graphics card to something with 12-16 Gigs of ram.. and buy 500 Gb ssd just for the game alone and mods for it.

Well, the plan is by the end of 2024 early access to be released for the game, I guess it will be either this month or the next one. To be honest, I expect the game to be delayed to early 2025 or maybe even second quarter of 2025 but we shall see.

In my perspective, it will take a few years before we really start to see "mods" flourish here and on the internet, just like it was with Sims 4. However, modders need to be careful about 18+ mods, cause in South Korea "pornography" is illegal. You can get banned on Steam for that. So you better use 18+ mods on cracked version of the game.

 

This is just my opinion, maybe someone has more info on this.

seems theyre extremely pro custom content to the point of having a model and texture import system within the game itself no mod tools required so at least outside of animations were covered 

idk if korea will care about mods published and shared from outside korea

if they do do that theyd have to figure out custom animations first so itll be a while

unless they choose to reuse the child model from the game (gross and highly likely to be banned everywhere)

I'm very novice to this, does that mean it's a good or bad thing for making animations?

an amazing thing 

no need to figure out how to add new animations or replace em, the devs are giving us the tools we need to do it easy

if this game truly gets popular we may be looking at a way better alternative to sims for both regular gaming and adult gaming

seeing as were getting maya and blender support and the player can so easily mimic any movement most likely the player has a pretty free form skeleton

ive also seen in gameplay streams you can directly control the player character with WASD so instead of playing just god like in the sims you really are your character but with some sims like abilities

I hope it is possible to make the animations, the game has a lot of potential.
