AAF is not working

I can't open the AAF menu. 
If combat surrender happens, then there is no animation. The character kneels down, but nothing happens afterwards.

I read the installation several times, but I can't figure out what's wrong, I installed F4SE correctly.

I did not enter the necessary lines for modding in Custom ini, but other weapon mods work.

So you read the installation instructions several times, but didn't follow the instructions and now wonder why things don't work?  Am I understanding that correctly?

 

I wonder what would happen if you did follow all the steps in the instructions...

If you didn't add the lines because you didn't know why they are important, it's because if you don't add those lines, the game will ignore everything but the BA2 for the extra assets it loads. Many, if not all the mods in the guide have to use assets that can't be stored in BA2 files.

not everyone likes using installers i prefair manual instalation also i tryed inputting the lines in ini but it didnt work does aaf use a mcm ? if yes it didnt have mcm option but other mods like aaf pugertory and so on did have a mcm option if it does have a mcm option and the mcm option isnt isable to manual instalation that mighht be why it wont work for some people

there is no mcm option. installed correctly, you press ‘home’ key (that is configurable) to bring up the menu. it does not work for some people because they fail to install it correctly.
