NEW SWTOR Nude Mod (Updated File Changer for 2023 64-Bit Upgrade)

SWTOR Slicers already has this fixed, file changer is now compatible with 64-bit. Can't replace customized meshes though - gr2 export tool for Blender needs to be fixed to export the mesh in a way the game can read, but you can replace custom textures and swap out meshes for other unmodified meshes. Check out their GitHub for the updated zip.

Sooooo does this mean the mod will work? If so, would u mind explaining how I would go about using it to replace the textures and meshes to a nude variant? Thanks

Yeah I mean looking over at SWTOR Slicer's github, it seems like they've already made brand new tools to mod the game with it's current 64 bit upgrade.

I guess now all that's left to do is for someone to just make the new textures to inject into the necessary files for the game.

Looking further into this....yeah, someone creating new textures should be all that's needed.

 

This mod here replaces heads.

You use it by using the SWTOR Tools by SWTOR Slicers that I mentioned in my previous post that has a File Changer built into it. You would use this to insert the nude textures into the game.

 

This is fantastic news! We just need someone who is willing to create these new textures now. I still have the old texture files I can share if that will help. What I'm going to do now is try using the new tool to insert the old textures and see if that works and if it does, we won't really even need new textures (unless someone just wants to make them look better).

I've made more progress. I joined the SWTOR Slicer's Discord and found out that the Slicers-GUI tool that I mentioned in my previous post has been depreciated so ignore that.

 

Instead, user hackbackwards' over at SWTOR Slicers has already made a 64-Bit version of the File Changer and the good folks at SWTOR Slicer's has also made a new tool for extracting the assets necessary for texture mod called ExtracTOR. They have also made guides on how to go about the process of identifying and then extracting the original texture files from the game to mod and then using the File Changer to swap the textures out with the modded new nude textures.

 

Which means yes, new nude textures will need to be made by someone who is willing to make them since the old 32-bit textures would be low resolution, but we have all the tools we need now. A user in their Discord mentioned simply upscaling the existing nude textures and that may work, but this also presents the opportunity to create newer, more detailed nude textures.

Wait, these are the new assets extracted from the game to be edited or is this the nude mod you made yourself?

You can edit them on photoshop with Nvidia Texture Tools DDS extension. Beyond that, Paint.net (or Gimp, don't remember which) I understand can edit DDS natively.

I tried a brief dds modification of it using some of the original nude mod files. I also had GPT identify the variety of DDS, and so we should aim for BC3. I didn't change everything, just what I could. If this is useful to you, then cool. Otherwise, it is just a draft.
