[Mod][XCL] Spike Fun

I can't escape the "You still don't know what pill you're under the effects of. Maybe you should go to the pharmacists to try to find out" screen. If I press the "Next" button, I get to the same screen again. Had a look at the code, something wrong with this? :

 

As far as I understand the code, the passage sequence is

 

:: pill expires [fullscreen]
:: pill doesnt expire [around]

 

and then it seems to loop back to "pill expires", something is wrong/missing.

Everything seems to be working reasonably well.

 

only found one new? issue:

Noticed that the smart guy looking for dumb girlfriend quest no longer seems to have the scene where he drugs you when you're out in the pub as a woman and he's out of wishes to refill his wishes.

Did also come across the bug where the horny drug got called after a piece of underwear but you know of that one.

Also still got an issue of sometimes during the fox one, the screen went too big and the next button either didn't work or wasnt there. Think i self fixed this poorly in the past and posted what i changed.

 

Good job on the swapover to 0.22!

It's part of the xchange pharmacy kiosk, the base game comes with the order test kit which takes a while and doesn't give particularly helpful information.

the kiosk tells you a lot more and is immediate

you obviously need to be a woman to see it, does not show up for men

The MEDIA file for The Knock-Off Pharmacy was accidentally deleted. I've reuploaded it, so it should be back.

I was trying to save scum my way into triggering this new "TD Chad" scenario (how will I know? Is it one of those, "Oh, you'll know!" situations?) and I noticed that a good 9 out of 10 guys when the "pickup gauntlet" triggered would always be easily dismissed by the "I got spiked", or one of it's variations. That feels off. Like, maybe from a realism standpoint it'd work, but for a game, it winds up feeling like a waste of a good scenario. Is there anything you can do on your end, in the mod, or maybe in the optional settings file like with the office staff, to skew them to the more aggressive or otherwise less caring about your having been spiked end of the distribution?

 

ps, come to think of it, if I am using custom settings, will that have any impact on the triggering of additional scenarios like "TD Chad"? Should I be adding a line into the file, maybe? I looked, and the download for that wasn't updated, so I figured it wasn't needed, but it doesn't hurt to ask, right?

So I have had Chad strike and have the implant but am I missing something as I did not have HGH installed (with patch if so, and if yes - would that not have been proper to add in as part of the mods implant?) or is his whole purpose just to stay TD because BD isn't going to happen unless I can install it and somehow add that effect to what appears to be a somewhat permanent change to my character for what seems to be an endless 21 days left.

I assume he spiked me like he is supposed to? but after that I have no clue if he is working as intended in the save as I have had him over to the house about 30 times now and he is still stuck on his initial sizes, no new interactions, nothing but stuck on 21 days left of some implant that seems like it will never go away.

What's the 3-wish thing? Is that in the base of this mod or added by one of the optional ones?

"sex sound variants" passages need to be changed to "riding sounds" in new versions of the game.

I struggled also. did get it to trigger once, to confirm how to trigger it, it's simply attempting to talk to the girls at the bar, eventually you'll get it, very similar to how smartiegf works.

Getting drink spiked doesn't help. I also changed the chance to something significantly higher, however i'm unsure it actually works like that.

 

Other than the fact it feels like a 1 in 1000 chance to get it to trigger, it seemed to work fine and i liked the general idea of it. 

Both times i got it to trigger was half way through smartiegf, the coding seems a bit mingled between the two but from what i can see that shouldnt affect it and it's just happenstance.

Got to the end of the TD chad questline and i don't think the reversal works. Even using the ingame cheat to reduce it to 0 cooldown as well as waiting about 3 weeks didn't end it. to be honest i never tested if the stripper reversal worked either

 

 

To answer the 3 wishes, a few of the NPC's use it, it's part of spike fun.

Main ones are hgh bait, nerds and a few of the foxhunt and smartiegf. In short it gives them the ability to add themselves to your phone and the next 3 times they call, you're forced to have a scene, if you're a man at the time they'll also force a fresh pill on you

Looks like 3 wishes has spazzed out, it bugs out guys inviting themselves over for sex when I deny them (the requests keep spamming and stop only if I give in or break up) and if I break up I get this screen. Anyway to clean my save of this crap so I can play normally? Thanks.

Never came across this myself, which other mods are you using and have you modded anything yourself?

 

Also note there is a requirement, copied from the first page, i would also strongly recommend the diagnostic kiosk.

Thanks for reply, I have the requirements and didn't really add any mods that should break that. In the end I just decided to remove the chad and hnh mods and start a new playthrough.

Well the "smartiegf" was who was trying to hook you up whom is part of general spike fun, i've had "some" issues where his wish counter seems to be reading incorrectly as the code works when specifically tested, but it doesn't loop like that when i use it. Been trying to locate what the problem is myself so i can either suggest a fix or fix it for my own playthrough, i have a very bad workaround at the moment.

 

unfortunately without extra info i can't really suggest what went wrong in your case though. I'd be curious what happens if you get him again, he's the only one with that specific text. He can be found when you're trying to chat up girls and won't spike you till you've met him and says he wants a dumb girlfriend. Any drink after that point has a pretty high chance of being him spiking you

Sadly at this point I can't even give my load order anymore because when I started this new playthrough I removed several mods and even now I'm removing or adding mods if I notice incompatibility.

 

Btw., while I have you as captive audience ( 😉), is there any sure way to do the strip event without having to have sex with those 3 guys?

 

Also, is it just my imagination or is having nanobot protection a more certain way of getting pregnant than going unprotected? 😄 Cause I had 3 cases of pregnancy, ALL of them with the sleep-time nanobot missile defence scene where it told me "you're not pregnant", but my girl actually got pregnant (once by the chad). While the few times she didn't have nanobot protection and got creampied she didn't get pregnant.

This isn't really related to spike fun but i'll answer anyway.

you mean the stripper job? usually very doable if you're highly masculine and don't turn them on much and succeed in most of the checks. you get the option to "stop dancing" this is the way to avoid the scene. you need to have done at least 3 actions if i remember correctly and that's often enough for them to have stripped you down and gone at it.

 

I'm not 100% sure about nanobot protection, i think pregmod or swp side effects breaks it, but i can't say for certain.

 

I would highly recommend the discord, LOADS of really helpful people often with more knowledge than i have on there.

Unfortunately the boards don't get much use.

I can confirm this, getting the same error just with these three.
