Load/new game error?

Okay, so.. I've had oblivion for a while (maybe a year, never having much more trouble then a corrupt save now and then)

 

And recently, My game saves crash maybe at 50-60 % (just  fun estimate )

 

And i am unable to start new games...

 

Yes, i do play with mods, i do not need to list them, as i have used them all the time and havent added any in  recent times

 

My mods have never had an issue with oblivions loadup..

 

And taking ALL mods off does not fix this issue either..

 

Any fixes/suggestions?

1. Make sure the game runs with administrator privileges.

2. Make sure OBSE and all other plugins are up to date.

3. Make sure your load order is correct, and all masters are loaded.

 

Without your load order, there's only so much I can suggest. Granted, I'm not the best at such issues (rather good at avoiding them, though), but without a more detailed description and your load order this is about it.

You do not need to list your mods, but we do not need to help you.

 

How do you suppose you will get any help if you provide absolutely no information to go on?

 

If you cannot start a new game with no mods installed, try deleting oblivion.ini (usually installs in my games/oblivion). The game will write a new one when it starts.

If it still won't start, uninstall Oblivion and install it again.

You told us you haven't added any Mods in  recent times. And what is this ? UVIII.esp !!! It is a very new Mod.

 

And your Load order: Perhaps it is sorted with BOSS but you have not sorted the Mods that BOSS have not sorted/does not know.

Temius Castle.esp sounds like a house mod. And SuperUberCheapWeapon.esp is a weapon Mod.

You must sort the Mods BOSS has not sorted manually. Houes Mods to sorted house Mods, Quest Mods to sorted Quest Mods , Weapon Mods to .....

Seems all Mods below LoversAnimObjectsPriority.esp are not sorted by BOSS.

 

And Lovers Mods: These two at the end of your load order

And you can not use LoversAdultPlayPlus.esp and LoversAdultPlayPlusforSSP.esp. Use  LoversAdultPlayPlusforSSP.esp it is newer and better.

When you turned the mods off are you using the nexus mod manager or Oblivion mod manager? If you are using the Oblivion mod manager you have to shut the manager down completely for the mods to be deactivated not sure on the nexus manager as I have never used it for oblivion. 

 

Also another good thing to have installed is wrye bash. If any mods show up in Wrye bash with red color in your list you can click them and look in the bottom right hand corner to see what masters that mod is missing/needing for the mod to work correctly. It will also show if you have mods in the wrong area. Say a mod needs this to work and you have it placed under it then that will cause problems. Green = good orange can't remember red = bad missing masters it will also show what mods you had installed if you want to use older saves as it will list all the mods that you had installed at that time.

 

If all else fails you might have to do a re install of the game.

Well, i found a solution that worked timely.. My laptop needed a reinstall.. due to a slow load up error.. .. so.. Oblivion works again. Thanks anyway guys.. (and girls)
