Guest Posted August 19, 2025 Posted August 19, 2025 >Â In 1952, Rosalind Franklin captured Photo 51 using X-ray crystallography. That single image revealed the double-helix structure of DNA, the blueprint of life itself. Without it, the breakthrough discovery of how our genetic code is structured might not have happened when it did. Yet, her photo was shown to James Watson and Francis Crick without her knowledge. They used it to build their famous DNA model and later received the Nobel Prize in 1962, while Franklin had already passed away at the age of 37. For decades, her contribution has been almost erased from history. Today, we honour Rosalind Franklin as the scientist whose quiet brilliance helped unlock the secret of life.

Z0mBieP00Nani Posted September 1, 2025 Posted September 1, 2025 So, did you hear about that tennis player who tried to hand his hat off to a young teen or preteen in the front row, only for it to be snatched out of his hands by a greedy Polish CEO with obvious psychopathic or sociopathic tendencies, who later justified his actions online after facing rightful backlash? Â Apparently, this got the attention of said tennis player, and he agreed to meet the boy and give him a hat to replace the one that had been stolen from him. Â This was all recent news. Â Â 1
