So the new event to circumvent the religion doesn't fire. checking the on_action it appears that a character flag is set incorrectly.

The has_character_flag =  comp_milfant_flag line should be changed to has_character_flag =  mother_regent_flag

 

After I made this change, the event fired within a year or so of the Son turning 16.

 

Good news is that the Oedipus event - Son POV did trigger correctly after the wedding was complete. So, Yay!

 

Bad news - I can't get the Visit my Mother (Doting Mother) event to trigger every single time like it should for a son player. I can start a new game, select the Visit My Mother Decision, click the button and nothing happens (Doting Mother event doesn't start). I will then quit the the main menu, start a new game with the exact same characters, and the decision will trigger the event correctly. I have no idea why it's only doing it some of the time and not every time. I can replicate this for a mother with just the MILF trait, just the lustful trait, or both the MILF trait and the lustful trait. I want to stress that the event is set correctly, otherwise the event would never trigger. I'm not sure as to why this is happening. This is probably an ongoing issue and why you were getting some people say that it works and others who said that it didn't.

Author, this is the latest Chinese translation. GUn And Flower, who previously translated for you, doesn't have much time to do the translation work recently. However, I think his polishing level is much higher than mine, so I also asked him to help me polish a part of the milky content. However, it is worth mentioning that the last person who provided you with futa was machine translated based on his localization, while Gun And Flower took over the futa content that I previously translated. Gun And Flower has not had much time recently, so the translation progress is relatively slow

Well at least some impact has been made. The inconsistency will have to remain for now because I really don't want to go through all that headache again. I am also not fond of spaming updates every 4 hours, but problems keep showing up

Also, there is a bug in the Oedipus - Son POV event. The event isn't adding the momma's boy trait. I can see further in the event chain that one of the choices adds xp to the momma's boy trait, but doesn't do anything because the son doesn't have the trait.

  • You can now force the Son / Mother regent marriage, but it might choose not to work sometimes.

Hey, does anyone know the best way to set up a game to experience the regent events from the sons perspective? I feel like i'm betting on blind luck to even get the regency set up.

 

also thanks to Phaze star for the mod, the warmother event chain is amazing.

The absolutely fastest way that I know would require the spouse designer mod, I think. I've been testing the son pov of the regency events by starting a new game with a custom ruler. I created a man that is 30+ years old with a wife that is exactly 29 years old with either the MILF trait, lustful trait, or both. Fair warning, the MILF trait is hard to add and still be achievement compatible due to it costing 400 points. After creating the customer ruler and spouse, I add a son. The child is autogenerated, so I'll delete the child until they are a son. Start the game. Use debug mode or a cheat mod to kill the player character or commit suicide. Again, you'll want to use a cheat mod if you want to stay achievement compatible. Now you'll be a 12 year old boy with a mother regent.

 

That sounds like a lot of steps, but it's not. I can create that start within about 2 minutes.

 

As far as roleplaying goes, I started as a tribal male that lost to the war mother, then married her matrilineally. Did the entire War Mother event chain (which I very much enjoyed), waited for her to die (she was 109 years old), and the got remarried. Had a son with the new very young wife, changed the succession law back to male preference, had four more girls (I savescummed to avoid succession issues) to get the MILF trait, and then died at 106 years old. Boom, new son with a regent mother. The son was 9 at the time so I had to wait a couple of years to start the quest line. My plan is to now have a daughter, change the succession law to female and then do the female pov MILF events.

If mods could give out achievements, you earned it. Exploring all parts in a single save is very impressive, assuming that daughter plan wroks out.

by any chance have you heard anything about your mod being incompatible with V&L? I understand if you personally dont use V&L so you probably never came across it.

V&L has a feature where if you turn a woman into a vampire any child that woman has will spawn with the vampire trait. With futa/milf mods enabled they dont spawn with the right traits. But if i disable futa/milf mods then they spawn correctly. So i dont personally know what the conflict is there other than some script involving traits spawning on birth.

Both mods change the on_birth folder so sounds incompatiable. Also I don't know what MOD you are talking about, but vampires getting pregnant doesn't sound right.

Thank you for this. It's the best way to get the content to trigger i think honestly.

 

Damn I'm really looking forward to the upcoming mommy regent stuffs though.

update. sorry but i deleted the child_birth_on_action file in the milfy mod and now children can spawn with traits from both V&L and also have the futa trait.

 

for the time being anyway.

So after playing a bit, couple of thoughts on the new content. First, I think that once the son is married to the mother that the regency should no longer be able to be removed. I'm not 100% sure how that would work as if you set the regency to 100% the mother would just depose the son. Unless, you were to write another event to have it do something other than replacing the ruler and disabling the mechanic all together. Second, from the son pov, the horse event for prisoners should allow the player to have some input on which prisoner is chosen. Or, if the event should even happen. I've had a couple of times that I either wanted to take a woman as a slave, concubine, or ransom back, but the horse event triggers and mind breaks the girl. Which brings me to my third thought, girls shouldn't be mindbroken on the first time. Maybe have a loop counter and when it hits a certain number, then the girl is mind broken?

 

Really looking forward to more mother regency events from the Son POV.

Both the Mother Regency and the Normal MILF regency should be reciving new events as time goes on. I do not see why the regency should not be removable. The Mother may have her plans, but the Son has his as well. Based on the way I set up horse prisoner, it would need a rework to make the target selectable. At the very least I could probably add an option to not punish the target though. It is also probably possible to impliment a counter before getting mind broken, but I may not work on it for a bit (Contemplating re-working that mechanic)

Hey hey, loving the mod! Although, is there a way to tone down the events a bit? Playing this with carnalitas, dynamic affairs and the futa mod and I can't go one month without events overlapping eachother to the point where I have like 3 different events going on at the same time, mostly from these 2 mods, milf and futa. It might be on my side, but the game's even crashing due to lack of memory (I have 32gb ddr5). Is it a problem on my side or is it how it's supposed to be? I actually just can't play the game, even though I really like these 2 mods.

I notice the A Horse character is spawning as replacement for routine culture based spawn characters? Is there a way I can configure A Horse from too much spawning?

This Mod (Or my other) shouldn't cause game crashes, as the features it adds are all small. It may increase slowdown if too many characters exist, same as any other mod. Crashes tend to be from 3D assets, or systems that conflict (Or poorly implimented). It is impossible for a modder to account for the load orders, so event mods stacked on top of each other will make you see a lot of them. You could go into the files and increase the delays of events, but in doing so some of my progressions will probably no longer flow nicely. But no, the game should not be crashing with a high frequency from this mod.

Did you update to the latest patch? This was already addressed.
