How does someone switch from vortex to NMM?

In win11 I have been beating myself on how to try and switch from vortex to NMM. Also been trying to switch from regular to NMM Can anyone help me? Your help would be verymuch appreciated...

 from vortex page . If you need to revert back to NMM, you can simply disable Vortex and reapply your NMM profile to return your setup to how it was before.

As always, please backup your current modding setups in case the worst happens

I'm not a Vortex user, so I'm not 100% familiar with the pros and cons of it, but why would you want to switch back?  It seems like a step backwards.

 

Not trying to beat the MO/MO2 drum or cheerlead for them, but I was amazed how much more control I had once I switched to MO from NMM and I would never consider going back myself.  Seems like it would be the same with Vortex.
