Just an FYI none of this  works unless you download their entire library of mods and other things that they do not mention are needed. You may even have to go and write your own script using AI to get it to barely function and even then it won't spawn NPCs your sims will stand around and the timer will ding and congrats you wasted a day trying to get this barely functional piece of tech to do nothing. IDK if it's EA or this modders stuff but tbh it turned me off of playing (again ...) for the forseeable future.

hey so first off, love this mod. you did an amazing job at making the mod feel immersive and intuitive, I just have one issue. I can figure out how to preform in any acting scene option as on of the work tasks that pop up?

I rehired my sims, but when i get to the studio, the option to choose the scene wont appear on the PC, just the option to delete channel. Am i doing something wrong?

I kindly need help about installation:

 

at the moment we have 3 files here: AWE-ActorAndProducerCareers 3.0.0 // AWE-Core 1.2.1 // jughandlejones_AWE Video Studio-No CC .

We need all 3 installed ???

 

And: "It is best to keep everything inside of the AWE folder when installing."

Of course unzipping the 3 files will create 3 folders.

So which one is the "AWE folder"? We just make one ourselves and put everything inside there?

 

Also...

can we set the AWE lot in another world? Different from where our sim lives? I.E.: the sim lives in Del Sol Valley and the AWE Studio in San Myshuno. Is it ok? Will it work?

AWE-Core and the career can be in the same (self created) folder or you keep them in the folders they create. 

The AWE Studio is a tray item - so the content have to be in /The Sims 4/Tray/   (without any subfolder)

The Studio is not mandatory - you can also create your own.

 

Yes - the AWE Studio lot can be in another world - thats no problem. Your Sim will travel to this location.

Hello,

I’m running into a bug with the mod. My Sim is currently at Level 5 of the pornography career. Every time I select the option to "Join" them and travel to the active workplace, the game gets stuck on an infinite loading screen. Has anyone else encountered this specific bug? What should i do

been using the mod ever since AEP startet slacking off.

 

I've been thinking of an idea recently and thought I'd drop it in here:

 

I'm currently playing a household, where the mother "secretly" has a nsfw streaming side hustle.

So with the new Royalty update and the "secrets"-mechanic, I've been thinking that it'd be cool, if there was a way to make the porn career or the streaming hustle something scandalous, something that NPCs have an opinion about and react a certain way if they find out.

 

Technically it should be doable.

I just installed this mod the other day and I can't get it to work well at all and was wondering if it is bugged.

 

I am using the latest version 3.1.0, as well as the required mods Lot 51 Core Library version 1.43, Wicked Whims version 185k, and the latest version of Zerbu's venue list.

 

After setting up a location and giving it the AWE Porn Studio lot, as well as the AWE Photo lot trait I can't select it as a venue when I open up the "Plan an Event" window from either the phone or computer. No matter which AWE event I select I can't select the lot I built that has the AWE Porn Studio lot label. Also while trying to set up an AWE event I can't select any Directors, Crew members, or co-stars. It will however let me pick the main porn actresses/actor, but no sim will show up as a choice for the other roles to select.

 

I have tired to set the lot to a generic lot while keeping the AWE photo trait active. By setting the lot to be generic it does show up as a location I can select as a venue for any AWE event, however when I go there for an AWE event I can't assign any crew role, or acting role to anyone. I can't start a shoot as well. There are no options to give roles to sims when selecting them and going to the AWE slice. When I use the computer on a normal desk I get few options in the AWE slice like starting a stream, or reading the forums, but there is nothing there to start a porn shoot as I have seen others here talk about.

 

I have cheated multiple sims into giving them max skill and career ranks and still nothing.

I am using AWE Core 1.2.1 and AWE actorandproducer Careers 3.1.0 but there are no AWE options on the computer.

I have tried all careers at max level and cheap and expensive computers but it's just not there.

It got it working, thanks. Are all the jobs still rabbit holes with lot 51?

No - the main part of the career is active in the porn studio - assuming you have :

- reached Level 5 of the active porn star career 

- have the Get to Work expansion

- placed a Porn Studio lot in any world

- have a proper venue list mod to assign the porn studio lot as AWE Porn Studio

 

If the above points are given, you will get the classic get2work question if you want to follow your sim to work. (assuming you chosed to go to work and not work from home) 

Once you are at the porn studio you get classic event tasks - including to choose at scene at a computer.
