Slaves don't follow though town gates/house door

This is not a new issue for me, but I have never asked for a solution before.I am trying to put 1-2 slaves in each of my town houses.I enslaved 2 bandits and lead them to Bruma. They simply dont follow me inside the town, even though I use "here" command.I even tried to get them inside by making them temp followers with MCS,or leaving 1 waiting outside the town and trying to get them inside 1 by 1.The strange thing is that 2 days ago I got another slave inside Bruma.

Any ideas/solutions are most welcome

1. respawning NPCs are no good slaves (Bandits, Necromancers, Guards,.... all NPCs with no names) Not good for your game saves.

2. do you play BravilUnderground? Use the pack-slave spell outside the town and unpack the slaves in your house.

As Fejeena stated, bandits and other respawing NPC's are a good way to introduce loads of save game bloat (and the potential crashes that they bring) into your game.

Grab non-respawing NPC's instead.

When an npc has the persistent reference ticked in the ck it will not follow you though door or fast travel. and most npc like bandits who respawn has persistent reference activated.
