Deciding who gets a boner and who does not. Possible?

I was wondering if it is possible to change/add a folder name in meshes>clothes>as(and/or asbonersv5/lovers) so that only the npc's get an erection during sex and not your own male character.

 

I already found out that by just removing all nifs in there and placing the normal lowerbody.nif of your char in them makes sure your char's penis stays flaccid, but ofcourse the npc's will also stay flaccid then..

What do I need to name a folder there to put the nifs in so that the npc's do get an erection during sex?

Naming a folder won't do shit by itself.

 

You would need to open the LPK esp file and change all the scripts as well to reflect the file or folder structure change.  If you are not familiar with how to script, then you probably shouldn't mess with things.

 

As it is right now there is ZERO way of picking and choosing who does and does not get a boner.  Either all get boners during sex or none do (if you remove the mesh files - which incidentally is generating error messages in your console if there are no mesh files there).

 

Don't have a clue why you would not want your male PC to have a boner during sex.  That doesn't make much sense to me.  Sorry.

Meh, I dunno, I guess it's odd indeed, I don't make sense to me either sometimes.

Like taking these sex mods, I actually don't really want it yet I take em anyway..

 

Plus, well, the real reason actually is that I guess I do something wrong with (installing) the body type somehow(?), I like guys I play to be slim and cute/hot so I use the races from Max Heart Flan which are best with Robert's scrawny male body, but with the erect file/nif during sex their waist get's a seam cutting the body in half and I have no clue how to stop that from happening and placing the lowerbody.nif instead of the erect nifs in the folders stopped it, though clearly not the best sollution as that removes the erection from own pc and all the rest..

 

Max Heart Flan's races are seriously awesome!

In his screenshots none of his chars have that seam problem so I shouldn't either yet I do.

But then also the dark skin races he made look great, but with me I somehow keep getting that different colour between head an rest of the body..

 

So, there you have the real problem.

So the real or better question would be, how can I stop that seam from happening?

Ah, I wish you had said that at the VERY beginning!  That is actually very simple to fix.

 

The new version of LPK (renamed LAPF) comes with alternate Robert's male bodies that you can download separately.  The slim variants are there.

 

Remember that LPK only supports one body for sex so the PC and ALL NPC's will have that lower body during sex.  Currently there is no way around this.

 

You do NOT have to change your version of LPK.  You can just download the alternate Robert's male bodies pack and pick the one you like, to install.

You know... All the problems you have described you were having with our races, have the most simple solutions. You'd better ask these questions in our blog, and not here. Y don't you want to talk to the creators of the most amazing races you use?

Dude that won't work.  Unless you use the animated penis meshes that we made, you are telling folks to fuck up their games with this advice.  The new LAPF system is based on using a lower body mesh file that has a weight painted dick with new bones added.  This was done so that all of the animations which I redid or others made (and are included in the LAPF) can control the dick so that it is in the right place during the animation.  The animation can even move the dick around during that animation to go down a throat or "bend" as may be needed for a particular angled sex act.

 

Bottom line the old "static" mesh files are a thing of the past and you either need to update to using it or at least refrain from tendering outdated advice that could wreck things for folks.  

 

You are more than free to grab the scrawny mesh file from the LAPF alternate bodies pack and use it anyway you choose.  No permissions or any other hoop jumping is required.
